Alice Njeri Chege

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Alice Njeri Chege of Kiserian-Gathima Village, Kajiado West Sub-county.

Daughter of the late Peter Kimata Kinyanjui and Mary Gathoni Kimata of Kirangi Village Gatundu South- Kiambu County. Daughter-in-law to the late Arthur Gichuru Chege and Ruth Gichuru of Karatu Village, Gatundu Sub-county.

Wife to Christopher Chege Gichuru. Mother to Mercy Chege, Mandela Chege and Angela Chege. Mother-in-law to Stella Saoyo. Grandmother to Israel Kimata, Natasha Nduta and Samara Kimata.

Sister to Salome Kariithi, Michael Kimata, Regina Njogu, Emily Muthioma, Hellen Kamani, Irene Ndungu, Catherine Wachira & Agnes Wanja.

Sister-in-law to Hellen Kariuki, Nancy Githaka, Janet Marunda, the late Edwin Gichuru, Humphrey Gichuru, Lydia Gichuru and Rose Mwaura.Aunty to many.

The Cortege leaves Montezuma/Monalisa Funeral Home, along Mbagathi Way, Nairobi on Friday 16th December 2022 at 8.00am followed by a memorial service at PCEA Kiserian Church, Kiserian Township and later interment at her Kiserian family home.

Family and friends are meeting at her Kiserian Home, her Karatu up-country home and at St. Paul’s University Chapel – Nairobi Town daily at 5:30pm for prayer and burial arrangements.
