Alice Waithera Githinji (Nana, Cira)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Alice Waithera (Nana, Cira) after a short illness.

Cira is the daughter of Alex Githinji (Slota) and Lilian Wanjiru Githinji (KaDear) of Little Elm, Texas (USA). Loving sister to Joe Gitau and Jason Mburu.

Granddaughter to Joseph (Joe) Gitau and Joyce Gitau (Lari Hills Academy), the late John Mburu Muiruri and the late Alice Waithira Mburu (Kibichoi, Githunguri). Niece to Boniface & Loise Kamau (Highlands Restaurants), Jane Mburu, Lucy & Harrison Saitoti, Angela Wanjiku Mburu, Carol Wambui Mburu, Nyambura Gitau, Chege Gitau, the late Kamau Gitau, and Carol Gitau.

Beloved cousin of Wangari, Waithera, Karanja, the late Tony, Mburu, Benja, Dasha, Alicia, Coretta, Michell, Mckena, Joyce, Andrew, Waithaka, Brian, Joe, Gitau and Alex among others.

Aunty to Jamaine and Shiro.

Friends and Family are meeting daily from 3:00pm at her parents’ home in Lavington, Nairobi for prayers, and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home — Mbagathi on Thursday, 22n4 June, 2023 at 7:00am and thereafter, burial service at her father’s Joy Acacia Farm, Nyamathi Village, Keroche Road, Naivasha.
