Alice Wangeci Kiragu – Kuria

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Alice Wangeci Kiragu- Kuria on 12th March 2019. She was a former employee of Kenya Police Service Headquarters and prior to that Ministry of Health.

Daughter of Mary Wanjiku Kiragu of Mucarage, Othaya, Nyeri County. Beloved wife of the late John Kuria Wang’endo. Loving Mother of Violet Wangari Kuria (UON), Leonard Wang’endo Kuria (JKUAT) and George Njenga Kuria (USIU). Daughter-in–law of Leah Wangari Gichora and the late Leonard Wang’endo Gichora. Sister of the late Beatrice Wairimu, Cyrus Kimondo Kiragu and Esther Wambui Kariuki (Githuaini Pry Sch). Sister-in-law of Jane Nyaguthii Wang’endo, George Njenga Wang’endo, Winnie Nyakio Wang’endo, Paul Muigai Wang’endo, Elizabeth Keziah Nyokabi Wang’endo, Lillian Njeri Wang’endo and Eric Gichuki Wang’endo, George Kahuthia Muchiri, Mary – Wacuka Kimondo and Peter Kariuki (Kiajege West Pry. Sch). Cousin, niece, auntie and friend of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Imara Gardens Apartments, Imara Daima for prayers at 6.00pm daily and St Andrews Church (Youth Annex) from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Tuesday, 19th March, 019. Funeral Service will be held at ACK St Veronica Church, South B and thereafter the burial will be held at Langata Cemetery.
