It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Allan Kipchirchir Kiprop Mengich, on 19/03/2023 while receiving treatment in India. Until his demise, he was the Director of Value Edge Limited and an ICT Consultant with Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC), FEWS NET, among others.

Beloved son of the late DC Joseph Bargoiyet Mengich and Susan Rop Mengich of Chepkosom Village, Kabiemit Ward, Keiyo South Constituency, Elgeyo Marakwet County. Step-son to Sally Mengich of Kapng’etuny, Uasin Gishu County. Son-in-law to Mr and Mrs Rev. Jonathan Kangogo of Uhuru farm, Uasin Gishu County.

Beloved husband to Mrs. Joyce Kangogo Kiprop of Church World Service (CWS), Nairobi. Father to Jelimo, Toroitich, Jepkorir (all of Nairobi Pri) and Kiplagat.

Brother to Julie Jepkosgei (South Sudan), Duncan Kipkemoi (Treasury, Nairobi), Wilfred Kipkoech, Rose Jemutai (Postbank, Nairobi), the late Francis Kibet, Hosea Kipchirchir, Edwin Kipkoech, Daniel Kipkemboi, Richard Kipchumba and Anthony Kipkorir.

Brother-in-law to Racheal, Lydia, Dorcas, Samuel, Phyllis, the late Tito, Sharon, Angela Kibet, Janet Maina (Liaison, Nbi) and Agnes.

Uncle to Andrew Kibet, Tessy, Seth, Nicole, Kyle, Jayden, Ashley, Aiden, among others.A nephew, cousin and a good friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his residence in Jamhuri Estate – Nairobi, Kipkorgot Estate – Eldoret and Chepkosom home in Kabiemit Ward, as from 4.00 pm.

Fundraising will be held on Tuesday 28/03/2023 from 5.00pm at PCEA St. Andrews Church, Nairobi and at Kipkorgot, Eldoret; and on Wednesday 29/03/2023 at Chepkosom Home from 3.00pm. MPesa contributions/RSVP Contact: Duncan Kipkemoi 0723707739.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday 29/03/2023 at AIC Ngong Road as from 2.00pm.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 01/04/2023 at his home Chepkosom Village from 10.00am, he will be laid to rest thereafter.
