It is with profound shock and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Allan Otenyo which occurred on 10th February 2023 in Mombasa.

Son to Ibrahim Ombongi and Joyness Kemunto.

Father to Angel Otenyo. Loving Brother to Risper Mogoi, Wilkister Mogoi, Catherine Mogoi, Dorothy Mogoi, Verah Kernunto, Victor Ombongi (Advocate) and Livingstone Asingo Mogoi.

Nephew to Elijah Ombaso„the late Elizabeth Biyaki, the late Florance Moraa, Joel Motaroki, Gideon Ombongi (DCC Kibra), Kennedy Ombongi, Evans Ombongi, Stephene Nyandoro, Kefah Kerama, Onyancha Nyangeri, Ken Nyaundi (Senior Advocate Nairobi) among others.

He was grand son to Samson Ombongi, Peris Nyansiaboka, the late Wilson Nyandega, the late Wilkister Mitema, Monica Nyandega,Yusalia Bitutu among others.

Uncle to Shanice Nyakerario, Mosongo, Esther,Wilson Nyandega, Faith Nyamamba, Grace Nyamamba, Jeremiah Nyamamba and Samuel Makori.

Brother-in-law to Nyamamba Ayieng’o and Peter Bongoye.

Cousin to Everlyne Kemunto, Lydia Kemunto, Fred Ong’ayo, Debra Motaroki, Mary Nyanduko, Redemptor Nyanduko, Moses Makori, Stanly Osoro,Tom Onyancha, Jeremiah Miruka, Lydia Masenge John Nyandoro, Tom Obara, Rachael Nyarangi, Nick Nyaundi, Steve, Maureen, Everline Mogaka, Patience Kiyuka, Steve Nyaundi, Debra Nyaundi, Neville Omwenga, Betty Omwenga among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayer and funeral arrangements at the family home in Ogembo & Nyabitunwa, Kisii County.

The cortege will leave Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital on Thursday 23rd February 2023 for a requiem mass at Nyabitunwa Village. Allan will be laid to rest on Friday 24th February 2023 at their home in Ogembo Town, Kisii County.
