Allen Peter Kigira

2 January 1969 – 23 June 2023

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition to glory of Allen Peter Kigira, on Friday, 23rd June 2023 at the Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.

Allen was the son of the late Peter Mburu Kigira and the late Phoebe Nyawira Kigira.

Loving husband to Salome Nungari Kigira, and caring father to Christine Kigira, Sonia Kigira, Phoebe Kigira and Jemima Kigira.

Son-in-law of the late Joseph Kingara Kamuhu and the late Joyce Wanjiku Kingara.

Brother to Annie Njoki Kigira-Kinuthia and John Kinuthia Mungai, Dr. Wambugu Kigira and Dr. Mary Madumadu-Kigira and the late Alice Wangeci Kigira.

Loving uncle to Ryan Kinuthia and Trudie Kinuthia.

The funeral meetings will take place on Friday 30th June 2023, Monday 3rd July 2023 and Tuesday 4th July 2023 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm. Meetings are also being held daily at the family home in Githiga, Githunguri, Kiambu County.

Viewing of the body will take place at the Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 6th July 2023 from 7.00a.m. The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 8.30a.m. for the funeral service at Karura Community Church at 10.00 a.m.Thereafter the burial will take place at the family home in Githiga, Githunguri, Kiambu County.
