It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Alvin Kumba Mochama through a tragic road accident on 3rd April, 2022.

Son of Samson Mochama Miencha (formerly KTDA) & Dr. Janepha Kumba-Mochama (Egerton University & UASU National Office).

Brother to Dr. Edwin Mochama (UoN), Brian Mochama (KTDA).

Brother-in-law to Dr. Lucky Omweno (NMS). Uncle to Curtis Miencha.

Grandson to Johnson Miencha, the late Esther Nyanchama, & Christine Ogake of Borangi SDA village and the late Gideon Kumba & Helen Nyanchage of Matunwa village, Kisii County.

Nephew to Elijah & Winfred, Jemimah & Richard Osoro, Peter & Helen (USA), Dr. Ken Miencha (UoN) & Ann (Machakos University), Joyce & Evans Osoro, Jayne Miencha (USA),Tabitha & David, Fred Miencha & Mary (KMTC), Cyrus & Edna (KMTC), Kemunto, Zelpher & Peter, Kwamboka, Esther, Pius, Norah, Celestine, Nyabonyi, the late John, Zachary, Samuel, Eric, Meshack, Jared, the late Jerusha, the late Pauline, Loise among others.

Meetings are being held at his family’s residence at Kilimani, Nairobi.

There will be a fundraiser on Tuesday 12/04/2022 at Six Eighty (680) Hotel – Sherehe Hall from 5:30pm.

There will be a Church Service at Newlife SDA Church, 5th Ngong Avenue, Nairobi on Wednesday 13th April, 2022 from 10.00am.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi, on Thursday 14th April 2022 at 8:00am for Kisii.

Burial Ceremony will be on Friday 15th April, 2022 at Borangi SDA village, Nyancheki Location, Nyamache Sub-County, Kisii County.
