Amb. Francis Mwaniki Kasina (King’aru)

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Ambassador Francis Mwaniki Kasina (King’aru).

Son of the late Senior Chief Solomon Kasina Ndoo and the late Mary Kamola.

He was the beloved husband of Rose Kasina, a cherished father to Mali, Munene, Ndungwa & Mutuku, a loving father-in-law to BongYoon and a devoted grandfather to Jae, Justin & Aaron.

Francis leaves behind his surviving brothers & sisters: David, Joshua, Paul, Ndundu, Kiteme, Katambo, Muli, Isungwa, Wamutwa, Avia, Lena, Agnes, Grace, Julia, Nzambi, Ndunge, Kithele,Tabitha, Elizabeth, Mary, Syekaa & Sara.

He was also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law:Ambassador John Mwaura, Benjamin Kithonga, David Kiumati, Grisham Kimweli, John Mwandi, Godfrey Kitala, Jurgen Gotze, Samson, Mr. Kzunza, Copion Nyawa, Mary Joshua, Mary Katuta, Phaustin Kyulu, Elizabeth Kiteme, Ndingi Mbuku, Kawila Musyoka, Kawila Katambo, Mwalale Kwina, Mwikali Maithya, Kathini David, Priscilla Mbila, Mwikali Paul and Raeli Phillip.

A guiding light, cousin, uncle, mentor, and friend to many, his presence brought warmth and wisdom to all whose lives he touched.

The memorial service will be held at Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road, on Tuesday, 1st of August 2023 at 10.00am.

The funeral service will take place at Francis’s home in Migwani, Mwingi, on Saturday, 5th August 2023 at 11.00am.
