It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) announces the passing on of Anastacia Wanja Kigo of Headquarters, Muguga and formerly of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Kenya.

Beloved wife to Mr. Philip Ngugi Gitau of Cargo Nest K Ltd Nairobi. Loving mother to Scarlet Wanjiku and Victoria Wambui, Loving Step Mother to Joan Wanjiku and Maxwell Gitau.

Daughter of the late Stephen Kigo Muturi and late Ann Wambui Kigo of Ngimu, Kenol – Murang’a County.

Granddaughter of Leah Wanja Muturi and the late John Muturi Njehu of Gatumbu Village Nguthuru, Kandara Murung’a County.

Dear Sister to John Muturi, Francis Wainaina, Naomi Njambi and Pauline Wangui of Ngimu, Kenol – Murang’a County.

Sister in law to Teresia Njeri Gitau and Peter Mwangi Gitau of Kagira village, Gaichanjiru location, Murang’a County.

Funeral arrangements are going on daily at Southern Springs Restaurant, Kariobangi South off Outering road.

The Cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Thika Road Branch, Kabati on 2nd June 2023 at 8.30 Am. Burial will take place at Kagira Village, Ngurweini Sub Location, Gaichanjiru Location, Kandara Constituency, Murang’a County.
