It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Anastasia Wanjiru Karimi (formerly of Metal Box Thika) on 8th June 2023.

Wife of Boniface Karimi Githui and loving mother to Anthony Kairu, Rose Nyawira, Catherine lgathe, Paul Githui and Peter Maina.

Daughter to the late Benjamin Kairu and the late Felista Njeri Kairu. Stepdaughter to Esther Wanjiru Kairu.

Mother-in-law to Nancy Kairu, Polycarp lgathe and Susan Maina.

Sister to Paul Gathirwa, Stephen Muchungi, Rosemary Wambui, Alice Wanjiku, Peter Kariuki, Charles Ndung’u (Kanyeki) and Samuel Wachira (Ngara). Step-sister to Moses Gathirwa, Fredrick Muhoro, Jane Wambui, Joseph Kariuki, Julia Muthoni, Peter Nderitu, James Wachira and the late Lilian Mercy Wanjiku.

Grandmother to Susan Muthoni, Ann Michelle Wanjiru, the late Boniface Karimi Kairu, Matilda Mwihaki, Angela Wanjiru, Sharon Nyawira, Emmanuel Kamau, Anna Wanjiru, Samantha Wanjiru, Rafael Karimi & Gabriel Kimani.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati at 7.30 am, on Wednesday 14th June 2023. Mass will be held at St Padre Pio, Ithenguri Catholic Church, Nyeri County from 11.00 am and interment at her home in Kariguini, Kihora, Nyeri.

Eternal rest grant unto her 0 Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. AMEN
