It is with sorrow and positive reflection that we announce the death of Anne Mwihaki Ng’ang’a of Nkoroi, Ongata Rongai-Kajiado County that occurred on Monday 9th April 2018 after an illness she bravely fought.
Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kuria and daughter in law of the late Mr and Mrs. Peter Kimani and mother of Job Kimani, Ivy Wambui and adopted son Earnest Okeyo. Sister of Ngumo Kuria, Njeri Kahari (Karurumo Murang’a), Rosemary Muthoni Njeng’ere (Limuru Agro vet), Ndungu Kuria, Kinyanjui Kuria (Siji), Mwangi Kuria (Principal Murang’a High), Wanjiku Mwangi (U.S.A.), Wanjiru Kuria (Faraja Foundation), Kania Kuria and the late Chege Kuria.
Step-sister of the late Margaret Gathoni wachira and Teresiah Njeri Ngigi. Sister-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Mukuria Kimani (Thamanda), Samuel Ngugi (Nderi), John Kamau OK), Mary Wanjiku (Nderi), Gerald M Kimani (Portland), Geoffrey Wathome (Thogoto), Stephen Munga (Kabraza), Lincoln Kinyanjui (Thamanda) Aunt of Pauline Buya, Kuria Njengere, Kimani Mukuria, Mercy Miano,Wambui Ndung’u, Githuka Chege and many others. Anne was a dedicated teacher at Arap Moi Primary School, Nkoroi.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Nkoroi from 4pm.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home Mbagathi Road, not Kenyatta National Hospital as earlier stated on Wednesday 18th April, 2018 at 8.00am to PCEA Nkoroi Church and thereafter to her farm in Nkoroi for burial.
You fought a good fight of faith. As you sleep a peaceful sleep, your memory will always be in our hearts, from great love you gave us and great deeds of selflessness for us.
Shine on your way to heaven. We will forever cherish and miss you. Rest in Peace.
