It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Anne Rose Waruguru Matindi, which occurred on Thursday, 8th June, 2023, after a long illness, bravely borne.

Daughter to the late Rev. Daniel Githanji and late Mary Muthoni of Nginda Location, Murang’a County.

Wife to the late Johnstone Matindi. Loving mother to Susan Waithaka, Irene Kariuki, Eva Mwihaki and Mwangi Matindi. Mother-in-law to Lawrence Waithaka and Patrick Muiruri.

Sister to the late Nancy and late Julius Thyaka, Bellah and late Rev. Daniel Mureithi,Winnie and Simon Kimani, Hildah and the late Joseph Kimani, Miriam and the late Kahuria Kamunge, Drs Esther and John Mwangi, Rev. Nyambura and Eng. Njoroge and the late Catherine Wangui.

Sister-in-law to Edward Nduati, the late Fred Kiiru, the late Solomon Kibe, Beth Mwihaki, amongst others.

Grandmother to Annie, Sandra,Wachira, Scarlet and Evans. Great-grandmother to Ledari Ngugi.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Ruai from Tuesday 13thJune, 2023 to Thursday 15th June, 2023 at 2.00pm for prayers.

The cortege will leave the Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika road on Friday, 16th June, 2023 at 9.00am for a funeral service at ACK Holy Innocent Church Ruai at 11.00am.Thereafter, the burial will be at her home in Ruai.
