Anne Teresa Nyawira Mugambi

We sorrowfully announce the passing of Ms. Anne Teresa Nyawira Mugambi of Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, State Department for Foreign Affairs on 1st November, 2023 at UZ Leuven Hospital in Belgium after a brave battle with cancer.

Until her demise she was an Administrative Attaché at the Kenya Embassy, Brussels, Belgium.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kiwanuka of Mujwa Meru. Daughter-in-law to the late Albert Kamunde and Mercy Kamunde.

Beloved wife to Peter Scott Mugambi. Loving Mother to Adrian Keith, Angel Nkatha, Christian Mwenda and Christine Makena.

Sister to Beatrice, Dr. Rose, Stella, Lucy, Nkirote, Mercy, Archangel and John. Sister-in- law to Dorothy, Catherine, Davis, Immanuel, Philip, Silas, Japhet, Patrick, Irene, Sianoi.

She leaves behind adored aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and relatives that she held dear.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday 16th November, 2023 from 3.00pm at St. Veronica Catholic Church – Syokimau.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on 18″ November, 2023 at 5.00 am for funeral and burial service at Magudundu Catholic Church in Mitheru and will be laid to rest at her family farm in Mitheru, Tharaka Nithi County.

May her soul rest in eternal peace. Amen!
