Annette Wambui Kanyugo

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Annette Wambui Kanyugo, which occurred on July 23, 2022. At the time of her demise, Annette was a 3rd year law student at Strathmore Law School, Nairobi.

She is the beloved daughter to Patrick K. Wanjuki and Judy Wangari Maina. Loving sister to Eugene Kanyugo. Granddaughter to Lois Wambui Wanjuki and the late Charles Wanjuki of Karaba Village, Muhotetu, Laikipia County and Lay Canon Peter Maina Godfrey and Agnes Waithira Maim of Karinga village, Murang’a County.

She was niece to Stephen Wanjuki, James Wanjuki, late Lucy Githinji, late Susan Wanjuki, Dr. Muthui Wanjuki, Daniel Wanjuki, Esther Wanjuki and Miriam Wanjuki, late Elizabeth Wanjiku, Dr. lrungu Maina, Elias Kamotho, John Mwangi and Mercy Wangui Maina. She was a cousin, aunty and friend to many.

There shall be a prayer meeting on Wednesday 27th July 2022 at 5:30 pm, at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.

Family and friends shall be having virtual meetings.

The funeral service shall be held on Friday 29th July 2022 at 10.30 am, at the ACK St. Francis Church, Karen, Nairobi. Annette will then be privately interred at Langata Cemetery.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6
