Anthony Kamau Waweru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Anthony Kamau Waweru (formerly of Income Tax), which occurred on 19th June, 2021.

Son of the late James Waweru and the late Esther Wangui Waweru of Miteero, Mangu. Loving husband of the late Mary Waithira Waweru.

Father of Catherine Wangui, Charity Wairimu, Ann Wambui and James Waweru. Father-in-law of Rosemary Wangari. Grandfather of Patricia, Bakhita, Michelle, Jason, Megan and Stacey.

Brother of the late Marion Wairimu, the late Hellen Mwihaki, Priscilla Wairimu, the late Josphat Itugi, Augusta Ngendo and the late Nancy Njeri.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his residence in Buruburu Phase I , from 4.00pm.

There will be a requiem mass to be held on 23rd June, 2021 at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Kariobangi South at 7.00pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home along Thika Road on Friday 25th June, 2021. Mass will be held there after at 11.00am and burial will follow at his farm in Karibaribi, Thika.
