As we celebrate the years of his life here on earth we announce the promotion to glory of Tata and Arch Bishop Gabriel Shimoli lmbali of African Divine Church Chekalini Headquarters, which occurred in Webuye, following an illness bravely born.

Son of the late Philip Imbali Akala and Late Lucia Ingosi of Imusali lsulu Village, Ikolomani Sub County, Kakamega County. Loving and caring husband of Mama Dorcus Mung’ole lmbali. Father of the late Margaret, Priscah, Wilson, Ephy, Joyce, Rebecca, Daniel, Gladys, Ruth, Joseph, Robai, Celine and Violet.

Brother of the late Mukava, the late Sebetsia, Athanasi, Sulumena, the late John, the late Berita, the late Rose, the late Meshack and Wichila.

Son-in-law of the late Cornelius Limuma and the late Tebula Limulikha. Brother in-law of the late Elema Shikhaya, the late Mariya Lihabi, Rev Joseph Musoga, the late Michael Mayamo, the late Susana Isutsa and Robai Shisia.

Father-in-law of Peter, Rose, Morris, Edward, Charles, Gloria, Patrick, George, Phanice, Nelson, Elphas and Elloga.

Grandfather of Judith, Emmanuel, Shalam, Maureen, Collins, Everline, Edna, Lydia, Simon, Joshua, Nicole, Britney, among others. Great-grandfather of Job, Peace, Davin,Antel, Rahul, among others.

The cortege will leave Kakamega Referral Hospital Parlor for Memorial service at African Divine Church Chekalini H/Q on Thursday, 25th August, 2022 at 10.00am. There will be a service at his home on Friday, 26th August, 2022 and burial will be on Saturday, 27th August, 2022 at his home in Mlimani Village in Chekalini, Lugari Sub-County, Kakamega County.
