It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Ashford Gitonga M’mugambi (Mwereria), former Vice Chairman Meru Central farmers’ Co-operative union and long time Teacher.

Son of the late M’ Mugambi M’mwereria and Beatrice Maigene M’ Marete. Son-in-law of the late M’Marete Kathinja and the late Charity Marete. Beloved husband of Esther Ashford. Brother of Festus, Silas, the late Cecilia, Muthomi and the late Gichuru

Father of Kimathi, Roy, Kathure, Macharia, Kiende, Kathambi and Mukami. Father-in-law of Fides Kimathi, Nkatha Roy, Wangui Macharia, Muchemi and Eric.

Grandfather of Kinya, Brenda, Mutai, Brian, Mureti, Mwendwa, Mellisa, Mugambi, Munene, Makena,Thami and Teagan. Uncle and Cousin to many.

Meetings are being held daily at his home in Ntharene Location, Kirima Village, South Imenti Constituency.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital on Wednesday the 28th April, 2021, at 9.00ann for the burial ceremony at Ntharene Primary School and thereafter the funeral will be held at his home, Kirima village.
