Augustus Kitheka Milai

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Augustus Kitheka Milai, on Friday, 6th September, 2019, through a tragic road accident along Nairobi – Mwingi – Garissa Road. He was a Lecturer at Kitui Medical Training College (KMTC).

Son of the late Snr. Ast. Chief Solomon Milai Katithi and Ann Syombua Milai. Loving husband of Josephine Mutethya Kitheka. Dear father of Denis Milai, Devis Sammy and Hellen Kavutha. Grandfather of Nillan and Aiden. Father-in-law of Shirlylen and Kirui. Son-in-law of the late Samuel Mila Thambu and Cecilia Mwikali of Migwani. Brother of Munywoki, Kawasya, Maitha, Mutongoi, the late Syengo, Kalola, Sammy, Kavisa, Mary, Martha, Mwangangi, Mwendwa, Musyingi, Peter, Nzambi, Agnes, Mulalya, Museveki, Kavithe, Mwende, Dr. Kamene, the late Katithi, Ngunga, Pius, among others. Brother-in-law of Kinyala, the late Mutia, Mutinda, the late Peter, Kyalo, Dr. Ngene, Nzuki, Dr. Sammy, Phylis, Kivyuvi, Makasi, Mary among others. A cousin, uncle and friend to many.

Family members and friends are meeting at his home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Yatta Funeral Home on Wednesday, 18th September, 2019 at 8:00am followed by a funeral service at 1.00pm and burial at his home in Musengo Village, Musengo Location of Kitui West in Kitui County on the same day.
