It is with humble acceptance of the will of God that we announce the death of Barnaba Kiplagat arap Ruto of Mogorwa, Emom,Tenges ward, Baringo County, which occurred on 13/01/2023 at Elburgon, Lawina farm.

Son to the late Chebet Chelimo and the late Kabon Chebet of Kaseret, Baringo County. Brother to the late Kobilo Tochim, Kobilo Koros, Kobilo Mamet, Kipkoech Chebet, Kobilo Labatt, Kobilo Ng’ulat and Kobilo Wendott.

Beloved husband to the late Maria Ruto of Mogorwa, Jane Ruto of Mochongoi Eldama Ravine, Rhodah Ruto of Kapkono, Keiyo South, Elgeyo Marakwet County and Peninah Ruto of Elburgon, Nakuru County. Father to the late Alice Ngotie, the late Eng. Haron Kiplagat, the late Miriam Tanui, Timon Limo, Evelyn Biwott, the late Agnes Kangogo, Dinah Ruto, the late Esther Ruto, the late Paulina Ole Kiu, Simion Ruto, the late Stanley Ruto, Sarah Ruto, the late Dorine Jepchumba, Joseph Lagat, Lina Ruto, Capt. William Ruto, Purity Jebiwot, Josephat Ruto, Victor Ruto, the late Gilbert Ruto, Shadrack Ruto, Kibet Ruto, Ronald Kiprono, the late Jemutai Ruto, Caren Ruto, the late Nancy Jerop, Faith Ruto,Vincent Kipkogei, and Norah Ruto.

Father-in-law to Mary, the late Rosa, Pamela, the late Job Tanui, the late Kidogo, Michael, Kangogo, Ole Kiu, the late Betty, Ndeda, Anne, Nancy, Caro, Dorris, Mercy, Faith, Sally, Winnie,Wesley and Geoffrey. Kugoe was blessed with several grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home – Nakuru on 21/01/2023 for the funeral service to be held at Mogorwa Primary School grounds at 10:00am. Burial and laying of wreaths will take place at 3:00 p.m at his Mogorwa Home.
