It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we inform you of the passing of Bellah Wagatwe Wanjuki. She passed away peacefully early in the morning of March 18th, 2023 in New Jersey, USA. Bellah embodied the essence of kindness and love. We appreciate all your love and support during these difficult times.

Mrs. Bellah Wagatwe Wanjuki, wife of the Late David Thiuri Wanjuki, was the mother to John Wanjuki (New Jersey), Rosemary Wanjiru Murugu (Kenya), the late Dr. Norman Kinyua Wanjuki, Peter Kariuki Wanjuki (New Jersey) and Rachel Murugi Kanyogo (Kenya).

Mother-in-Love to the late Mir (Rtd) Kinuthia Murugu, Dr. Rufus Maina Kanyogo and Gwendoline Katuramu.

Grandmother to Bellah, Wagatwe, Ng’ang’a, David, Chuki, Wanjiru, Mumbi, Kiambuthi, Kanji, Murimi, Murugi, Wanjuki, Theuri and Phillip. Great grandmother to Jabali, Kenzy, Jeremy and Enyah.

Sister to Eliud Wanjau, Elijah Nganga, the late Priscilla Wakiini Ngige, the late Nahashon Ngige, the late Job Mureithi, the late Mary Wambui, the late Jesse Mwangi and the late Eunice Wambere Nyaga. Beloved aunt and friend to many.

A memorial service will be held in Nairobi on Saturday 1st April from 2pm at PCEA Loresho Community Church.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 4th April at 6am for a burial service at PCEA Karuna-ini Church at 10am.
