It is in acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin, Mr. Benedict Mulilya Malonza (formerly of Kenya Police-Pangani Station, Traffic Devision) which occurred through a tragic road accident along Machakos-Katumani road on Sunday, 9th October, 2022.

Son of the late Malonza Kiilu and Anna Koki Malonza. Husband of Joyce Mathii Mulilya. Father of Peter Musyoka (Machakos County), Mary Nditi (Top security-Nairobi), Benjamin Malonza (Konza City), Bonventure Maingi (N.C.A).

Grandfather of Alphonce (K.U), Mark (Ndalani High School),Tamara (Moi Girls), Lewis and Abigail and Rita (Uganda Matyrs Kimutwa), Nathaniel (Strathmore), Blessing(LCVR), Elizabeth, and Vivian.

Brother of Kasina, the late Rtd ssp Kaviu and the late Mutune. Step-brother of Lole, Joyce Maya and Kaluki.

Cousin of Samson Muinde, Musau, Charles Enea, Wilson Mutuku, Mbozo, Danson, Jonathan, Siloni, Nzioka, Michael among others.

Son-in-law of the late Pastor James Mutiso and Ruth. Brother-in-law of Dr. Reuben Mutiso (Tectura Int, Dr Rv Willington Kiiu (Baptist Church), Janet, Lydia, the late Mueni, the late Ndunge, the late Mbeke, the late Muasya, the late Viona.

Nephew of Sila, Muli Kiilu,Alice Mbivi, Musembi, the late Silingi, the late Mutua Mweu (aka Ngaya) among others.

Uncle of Faith Katheu, Irene Nthenya Muinde, Obadiah Nthuli, Norah Katungwa, Nduku Mutune, Enea, Mathei, Nduku Lole, Mutinda, Tambo, Katuva, Mbolingo Maya, Mueni Maya among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home at Kimutwa for burial arrangements.

A fund drive will be held on Sunday, 16th October, 2022 at his home starting 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral home on Tuesday, 18th October, 2022 at 10:00am for requiem mass and thereafter burial at his home Lower Kathome Village, Kimutwa Location, Machakos County.
