It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Benedict Opondo Magero, which occurred on 26th April 2021 after a long illness.

Beloved son of the late Mzee Pius Gumo Magero and the late Mama Marita Dienya Gumo. Husband of Judith Naliaka Walubengo (Mapes Primary School, Kakamega County). Father of Denis Magero (Alupe University College), Pius Gumo Magero (State Department of Public Works) and Laura Manoti (USA). Father-in-law of Rodah Cheruto (Rhodes University). Loving grandfather of Judith Aloo Magero.

The body is lying at Cherengany Nursing home in Kitale. It leaves for requiem mass at St. Gabriels Catholic Church,Wekhonye on 7th May, 2021. Interment will be on 8th May 2021 at his Wekhonye Farm, Kiminini location, Trans Nzoia County.
