It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Benson Abuga Moturi which occurred on 13th May 2023 after short illness.

Son of the late Ismael Mokaya and Jerusa Gesare, the late Mary Nyanchama and Rael Mokeira of Nyamemiso Village, Nyambaria Sub-Location, Nyamira County.

Beloved husband to Alice Mokeira and Jackline Atieno. Loving father to Jackline, Betty, Daphine, Samson Manwa, Simeon, the late lsmael,Winnie, and Joyline.

Brother to the late Nyakundi, the late Omangi, the late George, the late Omesa, Nyaruri, Mosinya, Hellen, Martha, Isabella, the late Tom, Joyce, Jane, Margaret, Catherine, Jackline, Alice, Abel, John, Druscilla, Elizabeth and George.

Son-in-law to the late Moronge and the late Banchiri, the late Joseph and Dorcas Onyango of Alego. Brother-in-law to Elizaphan, Ochwangi, the late Rudia, the late Eucabeth, James Ochieng, the late Julius Odhiambo, Rose Muga, Phoebe, Peris, Jeliah, and Elizabeth.

There will be a fundraising on 28th May 2023 at his home from 4.00p.m.

The cortege will leave St Joseph’s Mission Hospital — Migori on 31st May 2023 for a night vigil at his home in Oruba village, Migori County and laid to rest on 1st June 2023.
