We regret to announce the passing on of Mr. Benson Mbiira Mwenge, Principal Prince Alex Mixed Day Secondary School – Igumo.

He was beloved son to Mr. and Mrs Jotham Mwenge of Turimatweru Village.

Loving husband to Annastacia Karithi Mbiira, father to Lynn Gacheri Mbiira, Rise Mukiri Mbiira and Victoria Gakii Mbiira.

Brother to Murugaara, Kithanje, Gatinku, Nyaga, Kanono, Kajira, Mauki, Kangai, Muthoni, Murimi, Mwathi, Muturi and Gitonga. Cousin to Kithaka, Kithure (the late), Murithi, Bryan, Muriungi (the late), Giti and many others.

Nephew of M’Mukembu (the late), Muchuga, Kirugi, Kithaka (the late), Mutiiria, Kimwere, Kinyua, Muriuki, Ndugi, Joyce, Gauku, Elizabeth, Kamoti, Muutu (the late), Dorry, Kang’aria, Karithi, Kathuure and many others.

Son-in-law to Mr and Mrs Jeremiah Nduga (the late).

Brother-in-law to Karea, Mukami, Muunda, Mwiti, Benjamin, Agnes Willie, Rebecca, Mutwiiri, Gitonga, Mucoore, Zipporah, Peninah, Suzan, Kagendo, Kendi, Doris, Muthoni and Kiende, amongst others.

Uncle to Mwiti, Muguna, Gatwiiri, Juster, Naomi,Winnie, Mutuma, Mwendwa, Mbaraka, Gapwii, Karagwa, Dan, Reuben, Hillary, Edwin, Wilfred (Gaichu), Kathomi, Favour, Emmanuel, Gloria, Gedion, Everjoy, Everline, Everlyn, Joy, Kajira, Barbara, Eleanor, Promise, Nehema, Munene, Karani, Bernice, Hesperance, Gaceri, Ngugi, Kaima, Kangai, Karani, Mutiiria and Gakii. Friends, well wishers and relatives are meeting daily at his home, Turimatweru Village for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home in the morning of Saturday, 23/04/2022 for funeral service at Karwamba Methodist Church grounds and interment thereafter at his home.

Gone too soon but in our hearts you remain forever.
