Benson Muchoki Gachanja

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Benson Muchoki Gachanja (formerly of Kenya Power and recently Umeme House, Kiawara) of Endarasha, Kieni, Nyeri County, that occurred on Wednesday 14th April, 2021.

Husband of Mary Wairimu. Son of the late Douglas Gachanja and the late Beatrice Wairimu. Step-son to the late Risper Nyathogora. Beloved dad to Douglas Mwangi, Beatrice Wanjiku, Gladys Wangari, Catherine Wachera, Hellen Wambui and Agnes Wanja.

Father-in-law to David Wamugo, Philornena Benson Muchoki Mumbi, Evans Kariuki and Eric Kamau. Gachanja Brother to the late Stanley Wanjau, the late Pithon Mwangi, the late Eliud Gichohi and Mary Wachera. A beloved uncle and grandfather to many.

Due to the current government restrictions, no meetings shall be held in Nairobi. The family can be supported through calls, texts and financial support to offset the cost of the funeral and pending medical bills. For any enquiries please contact David on 0723606258.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Mortuary – Nyeri, on Tuesday 20th April 2021, at 8.00 am for a funeral service and burial at his home in Endarasha Kieni, Nyeri County.
