Bernadette Olesia Chogo

 1997 – 2023

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Bernadette Olesia Chogo who went to be with the Lord on 15th August 2023 at Nairobi Women’s Hospital.

She was daughter to Anne Ruby Sangalo Chogo of NSSF (HQ) Nairobi. Sister to Nicholas Navade and Sharon Muhonjia Chogo.

Grandchild to late (Rtd)Amb. Francis Enos Chogo Mwole and late (Rtd) Madam Agnes Mary Makungu Chogo.

Niece to Emmy Witundu Chogo (USA), David Bendict Mbalani Chogo (Rtd TSC), Henry Jairo Mwole Chogo (Rtd) Kenya Police, Patrick Jef Chunguli Chogo, Daniel Amudavi Chogo (Somalia) and Angeline Priscah Muhonjia Chogo (Sigalagala National Institute).

Cousin to Tius, Ken Wafula, Fabian, Sydney, Helgar, Francy Agnes and many more.

She was a Champion to Lioness (Team – Kenya), Northern Suburbs and entire Rugby fraternity.

A Requiem Mass will be held from 2,30pm Wednesday, 6th September 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Adams Arcade.

Berna will be laid to rest on Saturday, 9th September 2023 at her grandparents home in Kivagala Sub-Location, North Maragoli Location,Sabatia Constituency, Vihiga County, Kenya.

Rest in eternal peace Berna till we meet again in Heaven.
