Bethah Akoth Okongo

It is with great humility and acceptance of God’s will that we the family of the late George Okongo announce the demise of Mama Bethah Akoth Okongo formerly of Agro Chemical and Food Company.

Daughter to the late George Okongo and the late mama Caren Okongo of Gem Rae.

Loving and dedicated mother to Reginald Onyango, Festus Ochieng, George Omondi and the late Paulette Achieng. Mother-in-law to Christine Anyango and Effie Ogtitu. Grandmother to Robbie Safari and Jake Morgan.

Beloved sister to the late Richard Odhiambo, the late Charles Odonga, Mildred Oketch (USA), Ruth Odhiambo (USA), Barack Okongo, Nay Wadawi (Agro Chemical, Nairobi) and the late Beatrice Okiri.

Aunty to Skeeter (USA), Brian. Lance (USA), Cassandra, Cynthia (Germany), Aileen, Betyce, Ian, Caren, Lewis, Carey, Cindy,Vivian, Aringo,Anna,Vidalin, Elvis, Tony, Eva, Cathy (USA), Dammah (USA), Effie, Walter and Trizah.

Sister-in-law to the late Syprose, Mary. Peter Oketch, the late Shadrack Okado, the late Prof. Wadawi, the late Faith and Abraham Okiri.

Cousin to Lewnora, Sarah, Peter Aluko, Milka, Amos, Jack (USA). Niece to Mania Helena Otieno.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Mortuary – Kisumu on the 09/03/2023 at 2.00pm, viewing and prayers will be held at the mortuary. Thereafter the cortege leaves for her homestead in Urudi, Nyakach where she will be laid to rest on the 10/3/2023. Burial Service will be conducted by Urudi SDA Church.
