Betty Naitore Mucheke

It is with profound sorrow but with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Betty Naitore Mucheke of Meru Saleem Academy.

She was a devoted wife to Joseph Mucheke Magiri and loving mother of Brenda Kagwiria Karanja, Doreen Nkatha Cissoko & Peter Kiogora Mucheke. Mother-in-love to John Karanja, Amadou Chico Cissoko & Joyce Kinyua. She was grandmother to Betty Wambui, Nazaren Naitore, Prince David, Emmanuel Baraka, Reginald Karanja, Jeremy Karanja, Nelly Karanja and Selina Melti Okinda.

She was great sister to Jane Igoki Kwiriga, the late Joseph Mwiti, the late Eunice Kathure and Isaac Gitonga Ringera.

Betty was a sister-in-law to Dr. John Nyamu, Jacob Nkunja, Ruth Giti, Susan Ngeta Miaro, the late Jennifer Nduru, Silas Kwiriga, Japhet Kirimi, Catherine Mwiti, Catherine Shaka and Grace Kajira. She was an auntie and cousin to many.

A devoted Christian, mentor and philanthropist, mum, as many called her, positively touched many people’s lives. Though our spirits are crushed, we stand on God’s promises that He is close to the broken hearted.

Meetings are being held at the family home in Meru – Maua Road, near CITAM – Meru Church at 5.00pm, daily.

Burial will be held at the home on Friday 14th July, 2023. Please uphold us in prayer during this difficult time.
