Brig. (Rtd.) Evans Miring’u Muhia, EBS

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Brig. (Rtd.) Evans Miring’u Muhia which occurred on 12th July 2018.

Son of the late Muhia Gichanga and Gladys Wagikuyu. Dedicated and loving husband of Mary Njoki Muhia and caring father of the late Dennis Muhia, Jemimah Nyambura Ndegwa, Wagikuyu Miring’u Ndung’u and Wamuca Miring’u. Father-in-love of Peter W. Ndegwa and Eric Ndung’u. Loving grandfather of Ryan Ndegwa,AmaraWaithera Ndung’u and Njoki Ndung’u. Brother of Joyce and Rapheal Mburu, Jane Wambui, Rachel and Karanja Njihia, Jerusha and Newton Kogi, the late Apophia and Karanja Kahia, Ruth Gachuhi, Margaret and the late Samuel Njiraini, the late Andrew and Hannah Miring’u, the late Francis and Rose Ng’ang’a, Geogrey and Margaret Njuguna, Stephen and Hannah Kangi. Sophia and the late Isaac Kabeu, Jedidah and Samuel Mathu and Wairimu and Moses Murigi. A cherished cousin, uncle and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting everyday in Komothai from 4:00pm (3.00pm on Sunday) and at All Saints Cathedral on Monday, July 16th and Tuesday, July 17th from 5:30pm.

Brig. (Rtd.) Muhia will be laid to rest on Thursday, 19th July at the family home in Komothai, Githunguri at 10:00am. Procession leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary at 8:30am.
