Brother-in-Christ Naftaly Mwai Karani

19th April, 1950 — 13th April, 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Brother-in-Christ Naftaly Mwai Karani, which occurred at the ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital on Tuesday 13th April, 2021, after a short illness.

The third child of the late Henry Karani Njagi and the late Margaret Ngima Karani. Brother of the late Duncan Njagi, Ephantus Wachira, Eunice Wanjiku, the late Beth Muthoni, Mrs. Edith Wambui Mwangi, David Gathuki, Solomon Mutharu, Josphat Wanguru, Mrs. Joyce Wangari Ngibabi, the late Gladwell Wamwitha Muthee, Peter Mwangi and John Muriithi.

Husband of Susan Wangu Njoka. Father Brother-in-Christ of Evah Nyawira, Henry Karani, Priscah Muthoni and Zachary Murimi. Loving Naftaly Mwai Karani father-in-law of Peter Ndung`u Muniu and Irene Atieno Karani. A doting grandfather of Lianne Muthoni Ndung’u, Melissa Wanjiru Karani and Larissa Nyawira Karani.

The funeral procession will leave from the ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 20th April, 2021, at 9.00am, followed by the funeral service at ACK St. James Church Kiaritha. The interment will follow at his farm in Githioro, Kaguyu Sub-location, Kerugoya.

Prayers and planning meetings are going on from 4.00pm daily at his home.

God gave us Naftaly Mwai and has now taken him home to glory. Praise be to God!
