Caren Adija Aduwi

We announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mother and grandma Mama Caren Adija Aduwi, which occurred on 4th July 2019 at Kendu Bay Mission Hospital (Gendia) after a long struggle with illness.

Wife of Chrispin Aduwi Abungu. Co-wife of Pilista Aduwi and Rosemary Aduwi. Daughter of Johannes Agono and Prisca Agono. Sister of Esther Muok, James Modi, the late Nikanor Agono, and the late Obuya Ambata. Step-mother of Jenipher Akinyi, Florence Aduwi, Patrick Aduwi, George Aduwi, Peter Aduwi, Caroline Aduwi, Moi Aduwi, Phoebe Aduwi, Pauline Aduwi, Joginda Aduwi, Juma Aduwi, Ouko Aduwi and Lydia Aduwi. Mother-in-law of Linet Obong’o, Caren Olweny, Eunice Otieno, Caroline Moi, Rose Moi, Esther Moi, Dolphine Joginda, Lilian Juma, Dorothy Ouko, Amon Onyango, Charles Oketch, and the late Charles Atito.

Grandmother of many including, Steven, Kevin, Collins, Brendah, Ambrose, Rinna, Barry, Chris, Faith, Tina, Brianna, Gift, Vallery, Flo and Nadia. Great-grandmother of Nicole. Aunt of many including Osano, Phoebe, Noah, Ruth, Otieno Agono, Jimmy, Brother, Jackline, Linda, Odak and Otieno Muok.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Maguti village, Kendu Bay Town. There will be fundraising event on Tuesday 16th July 2019 at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 5.30pm.

The cortege will eave Kendu Bay Mission Hospital (Gendia) on 18th July, 2019 for a requiem mass at Kendu Bay Parish 3.00pm.

Burial will take place at her home in Maguti village on 19th July, 2019 starting at 10.00am.
