In Loving Memory

 Sunrise :6th August 1945 – Sunset : 26th September 2019

We never lose the ones we love, for they will always be loved, remembered, treasured and always in our thoughts The passage of time neither dulls nor softens the blow, because true love stands the test of time.

One year ago on a day like today heaven beckoned you. Memories of you are like the comforting low ocean tides that whisper by the shore. They always come back with laughter, warmth and lots of smiles.

You were a man of few words but a wordsmith with the Daily crossword’ puzzles. Your love, strength, kindness, sacrifice, generosity and affection was our fuel and inspiration. You asked for so little but gave so much. It’s the hardest thing but we try to move on, with your love in our hearts and your voice in our minds and the sure hope that we will be together again.

We can’t have old days back when we are all together, but secret tears, loving thoughts and light moments will be with us forever. Thank you for being an inspiration, a great husband, dad, grand-dad, great-grandfather and brother. Your memory will remain at the core of hearts forever.

1st Anniversary

It’s exactly one year today, you went quietly into eternity. Death may end life but not relationship. Time stood still but it can never erase your presence in our lives. We deeply cherish your memories of love, dedication, faith, kindness, wisdom and generosity which will remain a guiding light to us. We remember you as a wonderful gift from God and a pillar of strength. As a Father, Uncle, Grandpa, Brother, Friend and Mentor, you are physically still in our hearts, your memories linger sweetly, tenderly, fondly and truly. We will always be grateful for the wonderful and blessed life that God allowed us to share. Your amazing life was a blessing to us, the memory of your deeds a treasure, your passing on left a void beyond words and your absence a pain beyond measure.

Although physically gone, you are always a thought away from us. May the Almighty rest your soul in eternal peace. Fondly remembered by your children, in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sisters, the teaching fraternity and Friends church community. The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

Psalms 112:6 and Isaiah 57: 1 – 2: “The righteous perish and no one takes it to heart, the devout are taken away and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace, they find rest as they lie in death.”

On 25th September 2019 you left us, it’s one year now since passed on. Words can’t express the pain we felt, its still very fresh in our hearts and lives, still seems like yesterday.

You are still loved and cherished. Your words of encouragement and hope are still our anchor. It’s never the same around here. The gap you left can never be filled by anyone else. Our hearts still ache, but God’s grace is sufficient. We cherish the blessing of calling you husband, Son-in-Law, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. We miss you around here, your presence, the sound of your voice and the wisdom you shared. Fondly remembered.

Keep Resting. Forever in our hearts.

Anto, a true gentleman and a man among men, One year has passed since you left us.

We are not to question God’s will but it still hurts; that He called you so soon.

Though you are not here with us, you will always be in our hearts.

We thought about you today but that is nothing new, we thought about you yesterday and the day before. Anto, we think about you silently and also often speak of your deeds and name out loud.

All we have are memories that we hold dear. Time is supposed to heal but here we are with fresh wounds, promises and dreams we shared; trusting that God will see us through. You are dearly missed and loved by your Parents, wife, children, siblings, family, friends and colleagues.

Continue Resting In Peace. Those we love never truly leave us; There are things even death cannot touch.

Ndade it’s been 2 years and memories of a life well lived are still alive. Your words of wisdom, deeds, counsel, music, love and command of the English language are testimony of your presence.

Man is mortal but the love for them is immortal. Though you are not present here with all of us, your memory is deeply engraved in our hearts.
