5th Anniversary

Baba, Umau, five years ago you left us. The departure of such an extraordinary soul with a rich legacy was profoundly felt in our hearts. To us, you were the epitome of strength and resilience. You overcame the odds to give us a name we have all grown proud to own. Your vigor and strength of character was admirable and still is unmatched.

You will forever be in our hearts till we meet again, and your love, gentle warmness, kindness, hard work, and relentless commitment for God’s work remain as a model for us to emulate, and a beacon for our journey on earth.

We are entirely grateful to God for giving us you, for the time we shared, for the many fond memories we relish every day and for a life beautifully lived. Thanks to you baba, for the wise words of counsel and teachings imprinted in our hearts. We loved you, we love you, and we will always love you. Continue resting with angels.

You are dearly missed by your wife Josephine Mutia. Your children Agnes, Kyalo, Wambua, Catherine & Jane. Your sons-in-law Henry, Paul, and Philip. Daughter-in-law Jane and all your grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

“Those we love never die, they dwell in our hearts. In our hearts you remain forever. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations,” Psalm 100:5
