Sunrise: 28/11/47 – Sunset: 18/02/14

It has been five years since the Lord called you to eternal rest Dad. Though physically gone from us, your wise counsel, guidance, inspiration, hearty laughter and generous spirit will ever remain in our hearts and memories.

Dad, God called your name so softly

That only you could hear

And no one heard the footsteps

Of angels drawing near

The golden gates stood open

God saw you needed rest

His garden must be beautiful

He only takes the best.

Rest in peace dear Dad, till we meet again.

In all things give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. 1st Thessalonians 5:18.

Remembering You With Love,

“Wherever a beautiful Soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful Memories”

Mum, It has been 1 year since you left us. We vividly remember that Wednesday 14.01.2018 morning when you called some of your daughters to wish them a fun filled Valentine’s day and your assurance that you forever loved us. Little did we know that you would breath your last just 2 hours later.

There are no words Mum to express the emptiness we have felt this whole year. The grief, Pain and tears in our hearts has been unbearable and hard to deal with. Each day we continue to learn how to forge ahead without you, taking comfort in the fact that God takes his best and that nothing takes Him by Surprise.

We miss you profoundly, but yet truly appreciate that we are so blessed to have had you as our adorable mum. This we shall repeat throughout eternity with great thanksgiving to God who gave us the opportunity to know you personally the way we did Mum. Dearly missed by your mum Bennadette, Brother Henry, inlaws, nieces and nephews.

We continue to hear your Laughter in our hearts, we see your look of approval when we choose right even when no one is watching. We hear your voice reigning through the arguments in our hearts. We Are bound mum by what we learnt not just from what you said but from what you did. You loved us with such devotion and commitment and raised us to walk in truth, honour and humility and because of this we are so much better individuals Mama, because of the love and care you gave to many, we continue to be parented and cared for by those who ever knew you personally and interacted with you. Your Church, Friends, Siblings , Neighbours and former Workmates continue to care for us since you had very strong ties Mama across the world.

You always told us ” Musayi ni Mulitoho” and we continue to hold onto this and strive to ensure that our family remains forever bound together no matter what. You never tired when you focussed to achieve anything mum, that remains our driving force until this minute. Tears have flowed and continue to flow mum but we are comforted by the fact that you now sleep easy at Jesus Feet.

Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done, Then you will experience God’s peace.”

John Washington Wandolo Agot “Babu”

7th Anniversary

A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled: A place is vacant in our home, Which can never be filled, God in His wisdom has recalled, And the boon his love has given, And though the body slumbers here, The soul is safe in heaven.

Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by your loving wife and entire Wandolo family.
