The family of David Amunga wishes to express our sincere gratitude to Almighty God for the 53 years we shared with our loving mother, wife and grandmother Isabelle Wanjiku Amunga.

She was a blessing to many who knew her. We wish to express our deep appreciation for the prayers, encouragement, financial and emotional support from our immediate and extended relatives, in-laws, friends and well wishers who stood by us during mama’s demise.

The Holy Trinity Catholic Church Buru buru, Deliverance Church, Deliverance Church Umoja I, Staff of Kenya Power Company, Capital Group Company, Mcsk, Neema Nyamakima women group, EGBO self help women group among others for the support you showed us. The families of the late Mercy Nyaguthie Maina wish to sincerely thank The Lord for the years we shared with our lovely Mercy. She was truly a blessing to many.

We wish to sincerely thank all our relatives, friends. neighbours and colleagues for your overwhelming support through prayers, kind words of comfort, financial and material contribution and time spent condoling with us during hospitalization, demise and final sendoff of our beloved Mercy.

To the clergy of ACK Kahawa Sukari, and Kiburu parishes and all other clergy, we thank you immensely for your spiritual counsel and nourishment and for presiding over the funeral service. We were humbled.

Special appreciation to Dr Githaiga, Guthua and all other stall at The Nairobi Hospital, HDU unit.

A very special mention goes to the funeral committees both in Nairobi and Kiburu for your genuine act of kindness and dedication to ensure mercy had a befitting send off. We will forever be indebted to you.

Today is very special for our family as it marks the day God blessed us with Nelly. We express gratitude to Almighty God for His constant provision of peace and comfort, as we continue to celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved Nelly.

We especially appreciate Dr. Charles Kariuki and his team, nurses, all medical and nonmedical personnel at Nairobi Hospital who ensured Nelly received the best possible treatment and care.

We are truly grateful to C1TAM Valley Road and Buruburu for prayers and conducting a wonderful burial ceremony.

1st Anniversary

One year gone and yet the emptiness remains. We greatly miss you Liz but we know you are happy with our Father in heaven. We cherish the gift of time spent with you, missing your wonderful sense of humour, your laughter and wisdom. You selflessly gave of all you had and of yourself in a way that inspired all those around you. You were and forever will be a blessing to us all; the place you left cannot be filled.

We will always miss your presence, but you are in our hearts forever. As a family, we lost a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who was cherished and truly loved by all who knew her.

We wish to express our gratitude to all relatives, friends, H.E. President Moi’s Officers and Men of the Armed Forces especially the Army Navy Airforce Retirees of Kenya (ANARK) Nakuru Chapter, Kitale Golfers, Classmates of Liz in Kitale Academy, Sacho High School, KIMC, KIM and University of Nairobi.

We, the Family of the late  VirleahWambui Ngoiyo and the entire steering committee wish to thank our family, friends and neighbours for standing with us during illness, subsequent demise, funeral arrangements and final send off our beloved daughter Bubbles at Kangema. Since it is not practically possible to mention each one of you by name, kindly accept our sincere gratitude and know you made it easier for us during this difficult time. No words can express our gratitude we can only ask God to bless you mightily.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Vicar ACK Good Samaritan Komarock, Dr. and Mrs. Rev. Humphrey Muraguri and his entire clergy for the spiritual support and presiding over the funeral service at Kangema. The Rev. Phillip Owuor and management of All Saints Cathedral, and Rev. Karani ACK Good Samaritan Komarock for conducting the memorial service, Rev. Samuel Ndirangu Mbuu of ACK St Mary’s Kanorero for hosting the funeral service, Teens Teachers and Youth Fellowship and Zone 4 ACK Good Samaritan Komarock.

Special thanks to Professor Khainga, Dr. Arunga and Dr. Kibet for the tireless efforts in treating Bubbles, The Nairobi Hospital Management, the entire nursing team at Lady McMillan ward with special mention of Nurse Njeri and Susan, all those who donated blood when called upon.
