It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Daniel Newa Danku / Dante, that occurred on the 14th of May, 2021, at his home in Gachie. Until his demise Dan was a Business Analyst at Turnkey Africa Ltd.

Son of Nathan and the late Beatrice. Brother of Christine, Florence, Linyerera, Peggy, Leevans, Thuku and the late Winnie -Mickey. Loving Uncle of Ashley, Moses, Milan, Mike, Kaelen, Dylan. Nephew of Philice, Andeso, Rhoda, Ambare, Ruth, Agnes, Susan, Kepha, Tabby, Leah, Fred, Morris, Okoth, Alolo, Eunice, Lillian, Elsie, Nyerere, Grace, among others. A Cousin of Many.

A Requiem mass will be held at the St. James ACK Church – Gachie on Wednesday 19th May 2021 from 2:00pm and thereafter a fundraising.

He will be laid to rest at his Father’s farm on Friday, 21st May, 2021, at Mulwanda, Kwisero, County. COVID-19 Protocols will be strictly observed.

Brother of Peter Kimani Nyamu, Margaret Ruguru Kariuki, David Ndorongo Nyamu, the late Veronica Wanjiru Nyamu, the late Teresiah Ngendo Njoroge, Lucy Wanjiku Muriithi, Muturi Nyamu and Paul Kihoro Nyamu. Brother-in-law of Wilfred Kamau Gitau, Judy Ihiga, Edward Mundia Gitau and George Ng’aru (former Councilor).

Meetings going on at his residence, Complex View (Court B) Estate house no. 65 opposite Kasarani Police Station from 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 21st May, 2021, at 8.00am. Burial will be on Friday 21st May, 2021, at Ruiru – Mugutha, near the Police Station.

Chief Lutacho), Samuel Lumunyasi, Felistus Nasimiyu (Nangili Girls), Margaret Nakhungu, John Manafwa (Thika,) Janepher Nanjala, Roseliter Nabucha, Everlyne Nafula (Lukusi Primary), Andrew Siturna (H/T Nzoia Primary), Esnas Khasoa (Friends School Kamusinga).

Mother-in-law of Emily Wafula, the late Linet Samuel, Ruth johns Olive Situnia, the late Ronson Chesome, Wasai, Rajab Simiyu, Ben Makanyanga, Jacob Khisa, Christopher Ambaisi. Grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Lugulu Hospital on 18th May, 2021 and burial shall be on Wednesday 19th May, 2021 at her home in Lukusi.

Son of the late Chiesigori Bangiri Nyauma and the late Basibika Kerubo of Nyamiranga village Nyamira County. He also had two step mothers the late Hellen Moraa and Yusaria Nyaboke. A loving husband of the late Jane Moraa, a father of Joshua, Nyaboke, Nyanchoka, Mokeira, Gladys, Teresa, the late Mary, Moi, Hyline, Zipporah, Robert, Ruth, and Onkundi Jared. A father-in-law of Callen, Jommo, Okenyuri, Joseph, David, George, Sangara, Susan, Timu, Daniel, Millicent, Malachi USA) Moriasi (USA) and others.

Brother-in-law of Agnes, Kerubo and Faith. Grandfather of 43 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren.

Brother of Josephine, Callen, the late Nelson Nyauma, Veronica, Esther, Teresa Nyaboke Muma (USA), Elizabeth, Nyanchoka, Florence, Nyaera, Violet, Ogechi, Ondieki and Sitori. Uncle of Josephine,

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his homes in Kineni, Mokomoni and Nyamiranga villages and virtual meetings WhatsApp groups have been set up for funeral arrangements.

There will be a funds drive to assist in medical and funeral expenses on 17th May, 2021, at his homes.

The cortege leaves Nyamira funeral home- Nyamira on Wednesday 19th May, 2021 for service and burial on the same day at his Nyamiranga home. All covid19 protocols will be adhered to.

The Board of Directors and the entire Collection Africa Limited (CAL) family would like to announce with much sorrow the demise of Steve Biko Odhiambo, who passed away suddenly after a short illness on Wednesday 5thMay, 2021.

Until his demise, Steve Biko served as our Group Head of Collections and Recoveries. During the course of his work Biko was collegiate and very professional to all those he interacted with. He had a clear understanding of industry norms and practice. Indeed, he will be missed by his colleagues in the industry both agencies and corporate organizations.

He was the loving son to mzee Jack Fanuel Opana & mama Syprose Migot, brother to June, Kevin, Derrick, George & Nicholas. Adoring father to Tatiana and Tristan Jack (Ti).

Family and friends are meeting every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Gardens Square to plan for burial arrangements.

There will be a brief prayer service at Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 20th May 2021 before the body departs for burial at his father’s home in Ringa , Oyugis, Homa Bay County on Friday 21 May 2021.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult and painful time. May they find solace in the fact that Biko touched every person he interacted with both at a personal and professional level.

Biko, you have left a big void in our hearts but you have also left us with many good memories. Rest well!

The cortege leaves Christamarrianne Mission Hospital Kisii on 18/05/2021 at 6.00am for Reception Mass at St. Theresa’s Mother House Chapel, thereafter burial will be held at Asumbi Cemetery.

He was son to the late Lydia Achieng Abura and Ross Tindi Ndegwa. Grandson of the late Johnson Abura, the late Mama Isabella Abura, the late Frederick Ndegwa and the late Mama Petty Ndegwa. Grandnephew of Prof Eric Odada and Prof Ernest Odera Odada among others.

He was nephew of Joan Abura, the late Carren Macpherson, the late Jack Abura, Lynette Dawa, the late Lameck Abura, the late Ken Abura, the late Janet Cheptoo Abura, Sam Dawa and Betty Abura.

A memorial service in honor of Prince’s life will be held on Wednesday 19th May 2021 at ACK St Marks Church, Westlands at 11.00am.The service will be streamed live on YouTube.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private burial ceremony for family members will be held on Friday 21st May 2021 at his rural home.

The cortege will leave Chiromo mortuary on 20th May, 2021 for a funeral service at Gichuru High School Grounds, Ngecha from 11:00am. Burial will follow thereafter at Gitangu next to PCEA Gitangu Church.
