It is with deep pain and sorrow that we announce the passing on of Victor Njenga Wainaina on 6th May 2021. He was an Engineering student at Kenyatta University.

Son to Engineer Joseph Wainaina Njenga (Jovyne Engineering) and Carolyne Njeri Wainaina (Karols Collection).

Brother of Judy Wanjiku, Vivian Wanjiku and Vinson Githuka. Nephew of John & Rose Ndung’u Njenga (Embu), Esther & Stanley Kimotho (Ng’enda), Margaret Wambui (Thuita), George & Susan Kinaga, Mark & Catherine Githuka, Lawrence Githuka,Valentine Wanjiku and Dennis (All of Gatanga).

Grandson to Ruth Wanjiku Njenga & the Late Njenga Mwireri of Thuita, Mary LucyWairimu Githuka & Benjamin Githuka Kinaga of Gatanga.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations in Nairobi, Kasarani, Clay City Estate, Sixth Street from 3:00 pm and at their home in Thuita Village from 4:00 pm.

There will be a memorial service at Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) Clay City Church on Tuesday 18th May 2021 starting at 12.00 noon.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Wednesday, 19th May 2021 at 8:00 am for funeral service and burial at Thuita Village, Komothai Location, Githunguri Sub County, Kiambu County near Thuita Shopping Centre.

Kojwang, Philip O. Kojwang, the late Mary O. Ojwang’ and Daniel K. Kojwang, Dr. Alice A. Ojwang, Prof. Dan O. Ojwang, Sam O. Kojwang, Apphiah A. Ojwang, Miriam A. Ojwang and Hellen A Kojwang.

Father-in-Law to Annastacia Kojwang, the late Nerea Kojwang, Abigael Kojwang, Keziah Kojwang, Olga Kojwang, Dr. Dinah Ligaga Kojwang, Lydia Kojwang, Harry Wachira and Edwin Okingo. Brother to the late Wilkister Onjoro of Kabuoch Kachieng and the late Agnes Akeyo of Kanyamfwa, the late Naftali Odera, the late Omeny Owiti, the late Ojenge Owiti, and Mzee Charles Akado Owiti of Ogande.

The cortege leaves Med 25 Funeral Home for funeral service on Friday 14th May 2021 at his home in Ogongo, Lambwe, Homabay County.

He is survived by 11 children, 31 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Tanaka Hospital Mortuary on Friday 14th May, 2021. Burial will be held at her home in Maliki (Chude) Village, Bugengi Sub-location, Matayos Sub-county on Saturday 15th May, 2021, starting at 9.00am. Covid-19 protocols shall be observed.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Mbaabu Ikiara Mugambi, on May 11th, 2021 after a short Illness. He was a Career Teacher and a former Tutor at Shanzu Teachers College and a businessman in Mombasa. He was born in 1957 at Mbuthune village, Katheri Central Sub-location, Katheri Location.

The fourth born of the late M’Ildara M’Mugambi and the late Rebecca M’Ikiara. Brother to the late Gladys Nkandau M’Ikiugu, Prof G.K. Ikiara, Lawrence Mwongera, Judith Gakii, Simon Karani, David Guantai, Dr. Moses Muriira Ikiara, Japheth Kimathi and Kithinji Ikiara. Step-brother to Jason Muthee, the late Bundi Ikiara, Stanley Kathurima, the late Mary Nguta and Kirima Ikiara. Husband to the late Judy Karwitha Mbaabu. He is survived by his wife Lizzie Wanjiru, and children: Kenneth Mwirigi & Betty Kawira, Gloria Naitore, Allan Mutuma, Karen Wanja, and Moses Kiuume; and grandchild Alvin Mwirigi.

Burial will take place at his rural home in Meru, Mbuthune Village Katheri Central Sub-Location, Katheri Location, on Friday 14th May, 2021.

Son to the late Mr. Elikana Ruhang’a Kuniara & Mrs. Hannah Wambui Ruhang’a (Kabui/Mwari wa Miingi) of Ruthigiti Village, Karai, Kikuyu. Husband of Mrs. Jane Wahu Ruhang’a formerly of Telkom Kenya). Father to Anne Wambui Mwaura (Kenya Airways), Kimani Ruhanga, Wilfred Githua Ruhanga (FHI360), the late Samuel Miingi Mwaura and Danvid Njuguna Mwaura.

Son-in-law to the late Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Githua Njuguna of Uthiru. Father-in-law of the late James Kariuki, Wanjiru Mwangi, Susie Ibutu (NCCK), Jane Nyambura and Veronica Wambui. Grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and mentor to many.

There will be a memorial service and fundraising at ACK St. Peter’s Church Uthiru Grounds on Sunday 16th May, 2021, at 3.00pm.

Sister-in-law of Maina Thindiu, the late Wamahiu, Nyaga, Ndirangu, Rosemary Wangeci, the late Kogi, Nyandia, Wahome, Waigumo, Elizabeth, Wambui, Wangui, Waithera and Elder Alice.
