Son to the late Kituta and Esther Musee. Brother to Joyce, Anna, Catherine, Mativo, the late Mbinya, Mwanzia, Alice, and Muisyo.

He was husband to Esther Muendo.

Father to George, Gideon, Zipporah, and Gilbert.

He was father-in-law to Lilian and Susan. Grandfather to Michalina,Tamara, Claire and Kendra.

Cousin, Uncle and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Mbilini for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on Saturday 15 May 2021 at 8.00am for the church proceedings at AIC Church Mbilini in Kangundo, followed by burial at his home Mbilini in Kangundo, Machakos County.

Dad, we loved you but God loved you most.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely demise of Simon Maina Kagure of the Parliamentary Service Commission on 9th May, 2021, through a tragic road accident on the Nyeri-Nyahururu Road.

Simon was a beloved son to Margret Kagure Gichuki, loving husband to Tabitha Muthoni Maina, and a caring father to Trevor Gichuki Maina, Precious Wairimu Maina and Baby Blessing Wangari Maina.

He was Brother to James Gichuki Kagure and Samuel Ndungu Kagure (Major). Son in-law to, Beatrice Wangari.

Brother in-law of Elizabeth Wangechi and Michael Irungu. Nephew of Teresa, Ngunjiri, Simon, Late Charles, Late Elizabeth, Patrick Gichohi, Ndungu Rukwaro, Miriam Theuri, Sarah Rukwaro among others.

Uncle to Gibson, Walter, Gradwell, Margret, Ann, Collins, Edwin, Francis, Beth and ciru. Cousin’s to: John, Wanjiru, Stanley, Ann, Stephen, Mwangi, Wangondu, Njambi, Rukwaro’s among others.

Simon was a treasured friend and colleague to many.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mathari Hospital Mortuary on Saturday, 15th May, 2021 for requiem service at Gituiga Primary School in Nyeri County Othaya Sub-location, Mahiga West and thereafter burial will take place at his Mother’s home in Gituiga.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home -Thika Road – on Saturday 15th May, 2021, at 7.00am.

The funeral ceremony will be at ACK St. Paul Kariki Church Kagongo, Chinga, Othaya at 10.00am, followed by burial at her Kihari home in Kagongo Sub-location, Chinga Othaya.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Thursday, 20th May, 2021 at 9.00am, for a funeral service at ACK St Paul’s Lubinu at 2.00pm.

An Interment ceremony will be held at her home in Lubinu village, Mumias East Sub-county on 21st May.2021 in adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
