The Chairman, Board of Directors and Management of Royal Ngao Holdings Ltd. would like to convey their sincere condolences to the family of Morris Ngare Wahome who passed away recently.

Morris was a founder Director of Mureka Investment Co. Ltd. which owns majority shareholding in Royal Ngao Holdings Ltd. This company which was founded in Nakuru In 1978 by a group of friends, acquired a significant stake in the then, Royal Insurance Co. Ltd. (a subsidiary of a major British Insurance Group). Later the company rebranded to Real Insurance. a regional insurance business majority owned by Kenyan Investors. Morris served in the various Boards of the Group Companies for over 40 years.

Morris loved his work, he was a thorough and experienced business guru and will be missed by his colleagues both In the banking and insurance sectors.

We at Royal Ngao Holdings will miss his wisdom and experience. We pray that our faithful God will give Mrs Rose Wahome and her entire family peace and comfort as they mourn this great business giant.

May his soul rest In eternal peace.

Daughter of the late Leonard Kihumbu Kariuki and the late Rachael Muthoni. Loving Wife, Friend and companion of Professor Alfred Anakalo Shitandi (Registrar Research, Kisii University). Doting and loving mother of Advocate Abijah Anakalo (ODPP – Kericho Office).

Loving Sister of Beatrice Wamaitha Kihumbu (Portland, USA) and Damaris Wangare Kihumbu. Auntie of Stephen Kigano (Portland, USA) and Rachael Muthoni (UoN). Niece, cousin and friend to many. Daughter-in-law of the lace Wycliffe Shitandi and Rose Shitandi. Daughter-in-love of Joel and Doris Wabuti. Sister-in-law of Bernard, Patrick (Texas, USA), Caroline, Mercy, Evans, Julia, Francis, Boniface and Justo.

The cortege will leave the Nakuru Forces War memorial Hospital Mortuary on Friday April 23rd at 10.00am for Soy, Lukuyani. A private burial ceremony will be held on the family farm on Saturday April 24th 2021. Due to the current government Covid- 19 restrictions, numbers will be restricted. A future remembrance service will be held when the situation normalizes.

Daughter of the late Mr Nyaa Nzioki and Mary Nditi. Wife of the late Eliud Musingi. Sister of the late Mbiti Nyaa, Musee Nyaa, Mbaka Nyaa, Mbithe Nyaa, Kuthea Nyaa, Makongo Nyaa, Lung’uyu Nyaa, Kavemba Nyaa and Kyusya Nyaa. Sister-in-law of the late Mulyunga Musingi, the late Ann Mwili, the late Nyamai Musingi, the late James Kimweli (Formerly of Office of The President) & Loise Ndanu Kavoi.

Mother of Priscilla Mwikali, the late Peter Wambua (formerly Asst. Chief, Nakuru), the late Muti Mbole, Rosemary Biwott (Mogotio Sub-county Hospital, Nakuru), Mercy Alex (Mombasa), Francis Ngumi, Anne Muthui (Lecturer NYS Thika) Florence Kinguu (Potreitz County Hospital Mombasa), Purity Mutindi, Christine Kavemba and Elizabeth Mugo (Nakuru JP.). Mother-in-law of Caroline Wambua, Simon Biwott, Alex Ndandi, Elijah Muthui, Elvis Waita and Sammy Mugo. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her Kyatune home for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Mutomo Sub-county Hospital Mortuary on 24th April, 2021, for burial at her home in Kyatune Village, Kyatune Sub Location, Ikanga Division, Mutomo Sub County.

Mother of Saphira (Steka Agrovet), late Vivian, Amos Gedion (CGoKitui), Maureen Nduku (Aghakan), Daisy Esther (CGoKitui), Reinhandt Kimanthi (NPS Nrb), Judith Maua (Aghakan), Pst. Philip Mutala (CFC Maliku) and Pius Mutuku (NPS). Step-mother of Paul Mwikya (MoH), Lilian Nzembi (Children’s Officer), Patel Munyithya (HKL Kisumu), Roselyn Mwikali (Media) Carol Mwia (Business lady) and Dennis Nyambali.

Co-wife of Mama Lucia Mulevu. Mother-in-law of Stephen Mutinda Dennis Mutua (Min. of Lands), Faith Gedion, Renato Musau, Justus Muli (Nduani) Shelkha Kimanthi, Candy Mutala, Mercy Mutuku (Kerugoya Hospital), Rachael Paul (MoH Nakuru) Charles Kamira, Eric Liuva (Ketraco) and Kambua Nyambali. Sister-in-law of Patterson Wambua Mutala (NHIF Kitui), Mwende Wambua, Munyao Mutala, Kavingo and others. She leaves behind 30 grandchildren. An auntie and grandma to many.

Mother to Silpher Achieng, Ann Akoth, Anthony Otieno and Evelyne Atieno. Sister to the late George Odhiambo, the late Consolata Oduor, the late John Odembo, the late John Odhiambo, the late Patricia Omondi, the late Amos Otieno, Caroline Achieng and Patricia Oyoda. Sister-in-law to Jane Odhiambo,Vicky Odembo and Patricia Otieno. She was mother in-law to Eric Band and Michael Ojunga. She was the grandmother to Emmanuel, Adrians, Benadet Tina, Adams and Telvin.

The cortege leaves Rangala Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday 23rd April 2021 for an overnight vigil at her home in Sigul village, Mung’ao sub-location, East Uholo, Ugenya. Mama Maria will be to rest at her final resting place on Saturday 24th April 2021.

The body will be removed from Star Mortuary Ogango at 7:30am Saturday 24th April, 2021 for burial the same day. Burial will be conducted by Rev. Bishop Philip Osenya of AIC Nyanza area at her farm in Achego village, East Songhor Sub-location, Muhoroni Sub-county, Kisumu County.

We celebrate a wonderful mother to many and a friend to all. Praise be to the Almighty God.
