Daughter of the Late Isaac Awinyo and the Late Mama Yuanita Ongech Awinyo of Kisumu Karateng’, Nyawita village. Step daughter to Rosemary Awinyo. Sister to the late Perez Akoth, the late Sellah Node Okumu, Philip Osok Awinyo, the late James Auma Awinyo, Tabitha Achieng Onjoro, jeniffer Atieno Opiche, late fy Francis Kibwana Awinyo, Late Frederick Onyango Awinyo, late Dickson Otieno, John Ayieke among others. Cousin to Richard Osir, Joshua Osir, Mary Akumu, Margaret Juma, Grace Atieno, Ben Ogola, Willis Osir, John Osir late Hon Joab Omino, Dan Omino, Mary Omollo, Henry Ogola, Chrisptopher Metho, John Abok. Sister in law to Nellie Osok, Margaret Auma, Elizabeth Kibwana, late Herine Onyango among others. Dear aunty and grandmother to many. Friends, relatives and well-wishers are meeting daily at her residence in Kapkoros (Umoja), Eldoret.There will be a major funds drive to cater for funeral expenses at her home in Nyawita Village on Sunday 7th May, 2017 and another one on  Tuesday 9th May starting 5.00 pm at her residence in Kapkoros (Umoja), Eldoret.The cortege will depart from Eldoret to her home in Nyawita Village, Karateng’ in Kisumu on 12th May 2017, and burial will be conducted on Saturday 13th May, 2017 starting at 10.00am.

Wife of the late James Matiru Kamande of Manguo-Gitogothi Village, Limuru. Loving mother of Beatrice Wanjiku, George Kamande and Peter Mwangi. Grandmother of Sabrina Njoki Heck, Zorina Nyambura Champsi, Mohammed Champsi, Stanley Matiru Kamande, Matiru Mwangi and Njoki Mwangi. Great grandmother of Alia Wanjiku Heck and Isaac Stephen Heck. Sister of the late Joram Maim., the late Hannah Njeri and the late Gaciku. Mother-in-law of Ownali Champsi, Margaret Wangui Kamande and Wanjiku Mwangi.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Manguo-Gitogothi daily at 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangement. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Saturday 6th May 2017 at 9.00am for Church Service at P.C.E.A Jeremiah Gitau Memorial Church Kamirithu. ‘Thereafter the burial will take place at her home in Manguo Gitogothi Village

Husband of Mary Mbalu Mwangi (formerly of Kenyatta Hospital). Father of the late John Mwangi, Lucy Wangari and Stephen Gitau, Simon and Dawn Nsimbila of USA, Paul Kimani and Elizabeth Wangeci. Grandfather of Njeri, Kariuki, Ruby,Tifanny, Ciani and Mary. Uncle, Cousin, and friend of many. Brother of the late Josephine Njeri and the late Ayub Kamau, the late Pauline Wambui and the late Joseph Chege, Magdalene Njoki and the late John Mwangi Kaboca, Francis Mwaura and Mercy Mwaura, Mary Wanjiru and the late Joe Kamau, Dr. Simon Munanda Mwangi and Josephine Nyokabi, Peter Macharia and Nancy Muthoni. 1942 -2017         We celebrate a life well lived of Mr Alfred Musilu Muinde (formerly of the Meteorological department) of Kauti Sub-Location, Masinga Machakos County, who was promoted to glory on 30th April, 2017 at 8pm
Husband of Mrs Esther Beth Katunge Muinde. Father of Muinde, Mary, Bahati, Rachael, Nzau and Kilonzo. Father-in-law of Florence Muinde and Elizabeth Nzau. Grandfather of Katunge, Musilu, Joshua, jayden and Beth.
Meetings for funeral arrangements are taking place daily at AIC Ngong Road Church, (located along Ndemi Road, off Ngong Road) from 5:30pm. There will be prayers at the family residence in Woodiey Estate on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00pm.

Beloved mother of Stacy Njeri Karanja. Daughter of the late Zacharia Thuku Kung’u and Milka Wanjiru Thuku. Daughter-in-law of the late Mburu Karanja and Jane Njeri Mburu. Sister of Alice Nyaguthi, Kang’ethe Thuku (County Commissioner Kakamega), David Mwangi Thuku, Alex Chege Thuku (MD All Seasons Safaris & Tours), Jamleck Gitee Thuku, Samuel Waweru Thuku (K.T.D.A MS), Nancy Njeri Thuku and Beatrice Mwihaki Thuku. Sister-in-law of Wanjiku Mburu, Kamande Mburu, Nyambura Mburu, Njiira Mburu, Emma Kang’ethe, Susan Mwangi, Mary Wangari Chege, Rose Gitee, Phillis Wambui Waweru and Aunty of several children.

Clive Mzilikazi Mutiso (George)


After 40 years of zest, love, joy, aspiration, setbacks, heartaches and disappointments — all in equal measure – Mzili took his final (though abrupt) bow from this crazy world on 2nd May 2017.
His gentle, warm and loving soul leaves behind many shattered hearts, chief amongst them, Clive Mutiso Snr. (Dad), Margaret Muthoni (Mom), Clive Cetewayo Mutiso and Clive Mshweshwe Mutiso (Brothers), Hellen Lynn Tino and Roseline Eunice Anya (Sisters). His endearing personality will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunties, in-laws and friends. Family, friends and well wishers are warmly invited for a prayer meeting to be held on 6th May 2017 at The Cathedral Basilica of The Holy Family (Nairobi), in St. Dominic’s Hall, from 2:00 pm, and to a Church Service to celebrate Mzili’s Life – which will be held on 10th May 2017 at The Consolata Shrine,Westlands, from 10:00 am.
Thereafter, his immediate family and close friends will proceed for a private incremation ceremony.

1937-1987      Dad 30 years on a bright beautiful Wednesday Morning, Darkness filled our eyes as we watched you take the last breath at bedside. Time can change many things but not the memory this day brings. We think of you in silence and no eye may see us weep, but many silent tears are shed when others are fast asleep.You gave us gifts both great and small but most of all you gave us love the greatest gift. Down here we mourn, not in vain, for up in heaven we will meet again. Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through we will always love and remember you, Dad.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Mr. Jeremiah B. Maseki Ithuku which occured on 2nd May 2017 of Radio Frequency Systems Ltd. He was the loving son of the late Ithuku Ndothya and the late Kalunga Ndothya. He was the loving husband of Mrs. Rosah Ithuku of Kibera Primary School, loving father of Mercy Maseki-Nchau, Faith Maseki, Hope Maseki and Charity Maseki. He was father-in-law of George Nchau, Martin Ouma, Salome Candida and Kevin Khaemba. He was a loving grandfather of Paris Ouma, Kyle Ouma, Divaa Nchau, Kwezi Nchau, Miles Maseki, Myron Maseki and Ayanna Khaemba. He was brother of the late Muthinsi Ithuku, Ngui Ithuku, King’ondu Ithuku, Mukala Ithuku, Joyce Singi and Grace Mulwa. He was a step brother and an uncle to many.
