It is with profound sorrow that we notify you of the passing on to eternal rest of Dr. Solomon Okumu Ndiao. Until his demise, he was a lecturer at CUEA school of Business. He passed away on Wednesday, 14th April 2021 after a short illness.

Dr. Solomon Okumu Ndiao was the son of the late Erasto Migwambo and Pilista Muga. He was the Husband to Gladys Bonareri Okumu of Raila Educational Centre Nairobi.

Father to Fidel Okumu, Michael Okumu, Gemma Okumu and Petra Okumu.

Brother to Loyce Anyango, Norah Atieno, John Otieno, William Ndiao, Elly Ndiao, Jane Okello, Erick Ndiao and Damar Amollo.

There will be a requiem Mass at CUEA Main campus on Wednesday at 10.00am which will have restricted attendance according to MOH protocols but will be streamed on the University’s Facebook and Youtube accounts.

The Cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 22nd April 2021. The body will be laid to rest at his home in Kambui Village, Kakelo Location, Homabay County on Friday 23rd April 2021.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Son of Mr. Joseph C. Chemitei and the late Mrs. Emmy Chemitei of Tarakwa farm Kipsomba Location Uasin Gishu County. Husband of Monica Naisiei (Kajiado County Government). Father of Natalia Jeruto, Naserian Jebiwott, Toiyoi Jemutai and Teriki Melanoi. Brother of Wesley Kiprono, Justice Hillary Chemitei (Nakuru High Court), Margaret Chemitei (DHT Noonkopir School), Carolyne Chemitei (KVDA), Purity Chemitei (MTRH) and Laban Chemitei (Eldoret). Son-in law of the late John Kipirir and Mrs Selina Noonkipa of Kilgoris. Brother-in-law of the late Margaret Jerotich, Rose Chemitei, David Ngetich (Kenya Airports Authority), Joan Kosgei (Kabarak University), Daudi Klpirir, Rose and others. An uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at their home in Kitengela, Tarakwa and Kipkorgot Eldoret.

The cortege leaves Umash Mortuary, on Tuesday 20th April, 2021 at 8.00am, followed by burial on Wednesday 21st April, 2021, at his Home Tarakwa Farm.

Father-in-law of Dan Okutta (Advocate – KCB).
