Son of the late Maria and Ngaina Neuno of Cheptais – Mt Elgon. Husband of Fridah Kisembe and the late Grater Kisembe. Father of Judith (TSC), Ken (KAA), Susy (TSC/SPU), James (MAYA, JKIA), Vellah (Ghana), David (TSC), Leonard, Caro and Joshua (FAO). Brother of late Maua, late Wandiema, Rael, Mary, late Benjamin, Beatrice, Loise, late Esnu, Eunice, Jane, Alice and Yego. Cousin of Marita, Isaac, Chengek, Felistus, Julia, Amos, Neuno, Moses, Kiterie, Aineah and Nelly. Father in law of Sammy Chemining’wa, Eva Ngaina, Anthony Gesora, Bridgit, Annette and Janet. Grandfather of Doreen, Paul (KRA), Caren (Morocco), Kevin, June, Bruce, Broline, Brian, Temoi, Sharon, Ian, Owen, Alvin, Joselyne, Herman, Lorraine, Yvonne, Bravin, Esther, Beryl, Mitchelle and Louise.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at his Cheptais home and Embakasi Nairobi. There will be a funds drive at his Cheptais Home on Sunday 22nd January 2017 and another one in Nairobi on Monday 23rd January 2017 at Tumaini House CBD at 6pm.

The cortege will leave Dreamland Mortuary to Sirkani village on 25th January 2017. The burial will take place on 27th January 2017 at his farm in Sirkani village, Ngachi sub location, Cheptais, sub-county, Bungoma County.

Agnes Wamucii Kiriti-Mwangi

Sister of Ambassador Josephine Gaita, the late Catherine Nderitu, Caroline Kiriti, Patriciah Kiriti, Veronica Chika and Purity Giteru. He hails from Muthiga in Kinoo location, Kikuyu sub-county, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Stephen Mwaura Kamaara and Anne Nduta Mwaura Kamaara of Ngemwa in Ikinu Location, Githunguri sub county in Kiambu County.

Husband of the late Alice Nyokabi Mbugua and Jane Mukuhi. Father of Anne Nduta and Leonard Ogoya, Rhoda Nyambura and Samuel Njoroge, Hellen Waithera and Bryan Mwangi and Josephine Wanjiru Mbugua. Doting grandpa Shirlyn and Jauden Ogoya, Naima and Neema Njoroge and Shawn Mwangi.

Brother of Donald Kamaara of Ngemwa, Patterson and Ruth Muturi, Amos and Sarah Leshinka of Narok, Anne Njoroge and the late Kenneth Chege, Francis and Eunice Kamaara Karanja of Eldoret. Mother in law of the late John Asirigwa, Gladys M’mbaya, Seth Ambani, Edith Khendi, Felistus Mwala, Aggrey Amugune, Mary Isiaho, Ronald Mahale and Douglas Shitemi. The cortege leaves Siloam Hospital Mortuary, Kerich, on Friday 20th January, 2017 at 2.00pm for an overnight stay and interment the following day (Saturday 21st January, 2017) at their rural home, Enyaita Village, Ebusakami Sub-Location, Bunyore South Location, Vihiga County.

We the family of the late Mrs Edith Wathira Kang’aru (Wakamonji) give thanks to the Almighty God for the gift of a gracious mother, grandmother and great – grandmother.

The entire family wishes to thank the Jamii Hospital and medical staff who attended to her during her last days.

Special thank also go to Reverend Audfax Mawira Kirimi and the P.C.E.A Muhito Church who conducted the Funeral Service and Burial Ceremony. All the Ministers, Elders, Woman’s Guild fraternity and members of various church congregations who prayed with us and gave us words of comfort during that trying time.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for the outpouring of love and support we received from our relatives, friends, neighbours, the organising committee and well-wishers who assisted us during the wonderful send-off of our beloved Maitu on 12th December, 2016.

The cortege leaves PNN Funeral Home Nakuru on Tuesday 24th January 217 at 9am followed by funeral service to be held at St Luke’s Catholic Church Kabatini at 10am. Internment to follow at his home in Gatitu Farm, Kabatini.
