In acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Caren Wambui Ngumo on 30 Jan 2021. Loving wife to the Late Danson Ngumo Kimotho.

Mother to Samuel Ngunu Ngumo (Cooper (K) brands Ltd) and Bethwel Waweru Ngumo (Egerton University). Daughter of the late Bethel Waweru and the late Mary N. Waweru of Thogoto. Daughter in law to the late Samuel N. Kimotho, Mrs. Charity W. Ngumo and Margaret Wandia of Magutu, Nyeri.

Sister In law to late Paul Kimotho, Rose Kimotho, Mary Kimotho M’Mukindia, James M. Kimotho, David N. Kimotho & Jane Nguru, Simon M. Ngunu & Rahab Maina, the late Philip M. Ngunu and Lily W. Ngunu. Sister to Damaris & Brown, Moses Waweru (USA), george & Milliam Gacihi, Ben & Catherine Waweru, and Stephen & Margaret Njenga. She was Auntie to S’ande, Nadia, Oliver, Marilyn, Ashley, Kevin, Maria, Nelly and Joshua.

Grandmother to Timothy, Zayne, Sophia, Jeremy and Damaris. She was cousin and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at St Dominic Room, Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi from 5.30 pm to 8.00 pm and at her home in Gilgil at the Teachers Estate from 2pm to 6pm on Tuesday, 2nd Feb & Wednesday, 3rd Feb, 2021.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta hospital Mortuary home on Thursday 4th Feb 2021 at 9.30 am for a funeral service at PCEA St. Andrews Church at 11:00 am followed by burial at Lang’ata cemetery at 1:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on 5th February 2021 at 10:00am for his home in Wasweta Village, Kakello Dudi Sub-Location, Rachuonyo East Sub-County, Horna-Bay County, whereafter, his remains shall be interred the following day on 6th February 2021.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 5th February, 2021, at 7.00am. Funeral Mass and burial will follow at Kaveti Prayer House in Karurumo Parish and his home in Embu.

Mother to Jimmy Katembo Mnene, Clara Pendo Jezrel, Delight Njeri Munene and Isaac Tupac Mnene. Mother in law to Maureen Were and Joseph Munene. Grandmother to Thandiwe Begley, Kai Kwame and Rio Amare Mnene. Step-daughter of Anne Wanjiru Mungai. Daughter-in-law of James Ngunjiri Karegi & Caroline Kabura Ngunjiri. Sister of Martin & Murugi Mwaura, John Mungai, Kenneth Mutungi and Michael Kubai.

Until his demise, Stanley Ntuara served as the Deputy Registrar, Administration.

Son of the late Peter KNItuala and Ruth Ciobaiburi. Husband to Kendi Ntuara, Deputy Principal Kianjai Girls’ Secondary School. Son-in-law to the late George Manyara and Joyce Nkatha Manyara. Grandmother of Joseph, Bliss, Peter, Stacy, Natasha, Jeremy, Travis, Maryanne, Ngaruiya & Franklin.
