Beloved son of late Samuel Muturi Mutonga and late Ruth Wangechi Muturi.

Former husband of Susan Njeri Mutonga.

Father of Jayne Wangechi Mutonga, Mercy Wamucii Mutonga & Nicholas Muturi Mutonga.

Brother of Johnson Wangai & Eileen Wachera, the late Joyce Muthoni & Moses Muturi ,Rtd PCEA Church Elder Reuben Murichu & Janet Muthoni, Purity Nduta & Rtd PCEA Church Elder Stanley Githae, Gachuhi Muturi & Lucy Mbaire, Pulscah Njoki, Carmeline Wairimu & Solomon Gaitta, Helen Nyambura & the late Rtd ACK Lay Reader Kenneth Macharia, Mercy Wangui & Rtd ACK Lay Reader George Ng’ang’a. Grandfather of Sheila Gatu, Kevin Kirika, Paula Muturi, Olivia Muturi, Moses Mutonga, Ayden Muturi & Ethan Muturi.

Great grandfather of April Nyokabi, Sere Kirika & Reyna Allen.

The funeral service & burial will be held at the family home in Gachima Farm (Kangaita), Nyeri on Thursday 31st December, 2020 starting at 10am.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Philip Kitonga Musau of Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government which occurred on 22nd Dec 2020 after short illness.

He was husband to Rosemary Ndunge ( Kiambu Institute of Science & Technology) and father to Wycliffe Kiswili and Victor Nzau (San Damiano Boarding School).

He was son to the late John Musau Mutiso and Joyce Syombua.

Brother to Daudi, Mary,Salorne, Lucy, Winfred and Florence.

Cousin to Eliud, Boniface, Norman, Salome among others. Uncle to Kamundu, Gitau, Vicky, Evelyn. Katulu and Rael among others.

Brother In law to Jimmy, Ndolo, Musili, Mutua, Kimeu, Alvin Kibet, Simon,Nzambu, Rosalia, Benedatte, Katatu among others. He was son in law to Monica Kiswili and the late Anthony Kiswili Wambua.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home Mbusyani village, Kangundo sub- county for funeral arrangements.

Cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on 30th December 2020 and for Church service, at AIC Mbusyani starting 10 am.

Burial is there after at his home Mbusyani village – Machakos County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Mr. John Mathiaka Kimundu, former Municipal Education Officer (M.E.O, Nakuru) —which occurred on 29th December 2020.

He was the son of the late David Mwangi Kimundu and the late Hannah Muthoni Kimundu.

Mr. Kimundu was the beloved Husband to the late Serah Muthoni Kimundu and Father to: Mary Ngure (AFC), Isaac Kimundu (AFC), Lydia Kimundu (JKUAT), the late Chrispus Muthui, Robert Kimundu (Multiple Hauliers), Mike Kimundu (PKF), Beatrice Kimundu OKUAT) and Zippy Kimundu (Afrofilms).

He was the Father-in-law to John Ngure, Phylis Muthoni, Pamela Tyongik, Olive Wanjiku and John Mwangi.

He’s survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren – the eldest being Wanjiru Kimundu and Andrew Ngure.

He was brother to: The Late Jonah Macharia, Serah Nyambura, the Late Jason Njatha, the late Francis Kiama, the Late Kamiri Kimundu, Rhoda Wangui Kariuki and the late Daniel Macharia.

Family & Friends will be gathering at the family home in Ndunyu Njeru, Kinangop and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, from Monday 4th to Wednesday 6th January 2021, from 5.00pm – 8:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The Cortege leaves North Kinangop Catholic Hospital mortuary at 8.00am on Friday 8th January 2021.

The Funeral Service and Laying to Rest will be held at his Mkungi, Ndunyu Njeru farm in North Kinangop, Nyandarua County from 9:30am.

Sister to Rhoda Muthoni, the late Geoffrey Kimotho, Leah Nyambura, Danson Ng’ang’a, Samuel Munoru, Jane Wambui and the late Joseph Mwangi. Step sister to John Kimotho and Ruth Muthoni.

Sister in law to the late Wanjiku Njoroge, Paul Mbugua, the late Wambui Karari, the late Mukabi Karari, Wanjiru Gitau Kirogi and Raphael Wahogo.

Daughter in law to the late Joseph Karari and the late Mary Njeri and aunty to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kangari from 3pm.

The cortege will leave AIC Githumu Mortuary on Tuesday, 5 January 2021 at 9am for a funeral service at the Bible Fellowship Church, Kangari, starting at 10.30am followed by a private burial ceremony at the family home in Kangari, Murang’a County.

Mother to the Lt. Baby Gabriel Muraya. She was a partner to Samuel Mwakwari and had Jethro Muraya and Jerome Mjawasi. Grandchild to Lt. Shimlon Ngunjiri and Lt. Naomi Warigia Shimlon of Mihuti Village, Mathioya and Lt. John Mwangi Karugu & Margaret Wangari Mwangi of Mairo-ini Chinga.

Niece to Lt. Geoffrey Maina, Stephen Kimani, Rosemary Dereva, Jane Kinyua, Elizabeth Mbugua & Ann Kahiga, David Mwangi, Lt. Eliud Maina, Lt. Wanjeri Maina & Nyambura Hiram, Rose Mwangi, Karugu Mwangi, Peter Kibicho, Charlse Mwangi, Joseph Mathege and Anne Wanjiku Mwangi (Mombasa). Cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her parents house in Tononoka, opposite Methodist Church, and Stadium Inn Sports Bar, daily from 6:00 PM.

The cortege will leave Jocham Funeral Home on 5th January 2021 at 10:00 AM for burial at Mbaraki Cemetery at 12:00 Noon

Devoted nephew to Wambui and the late Magu; Wamaitha and the late Njoroge (Mwalimu); Ngige and Mumbi; Njoki, Catherine Njeri, Nyaguthii and the late Murage and Waithira.

Much adored cousin brother to Wanja, Hinga, the late Mondo and Wanjiru Magu; the late Wanjiru, Kahura, Njoki, Nyokabi, Wambui and Mondo Njoroge; Mondo, Wanjiru, Wambui and Wangeshi Ngige; Chiru and Kui Murage and Fred Mondo,

Best uncle and dedicated friend to many. Renowned farmer, planter of trees and lover of nature. The late Peter Mondo (Njogu) will be laid to rest at the family home in Kikuyu on 5th January 2021.
