It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Susan Wanjiku Wanjuki, which occurred on 30th November, 2020 at the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi after a short illness. Until her death Susan was an employee of the County Government of Nairobi, Department of Food, Agriculture and Forestry and formerly Ministry of Agriculture.

Wife to Hon Dr. Wachira Karani, former MP Laikipia West Constituency. Mother to Edwin Karani Wachira and Lee Wanjuki Wachira. Grandmother to Tala Wanjiku. She was beloved daughter to the late Charles Wanjuki and Loise Wanjuki of Muhotetu, Laikipia County. Sister to Stephen Wanjuki, Muchemi Wanjuki, late Lucy Wanjuki, Dr. Muthui Wanjuki, Daniel Wanjuki, Patrick K. Wanjuki, Esther Wanjuki, and Mirriam Wanjuki. Step Sister to Milka Wanjiru, late Duncan Ndungu, James Muthui, late Margaret Gathoni, late Esther Njoki, James Ngatia, John Kaguthi and Josephine Wanjiku. Daughter in law to the late Erasto Karani and Elizabeth Karani of Kiamaina, Kirinyaga County. Sister in law to the late Rose Wangechi, David Mwangi, Rev. Florence Wanjohi, Pauline Wambui, Caroline Nyaguthie, Dr. Joseph Murimi, Eric Wang’ombe and many in-laws. She was a loving auntie to many wonderful nieces and nephews,

The cortege will leave the University of Nairobi’s Chiromo Mortuary on Saturday 5th December, 2020 at 6:00am. Funeral will take place at their family home in Kinamba Farm, Laikiapia West Sub County at 11:00 am on Saturday 5th December 2020.

All planning meetings will be held virtually.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will , that we announce the death of Mr Silas Mugambi M’Twamwari of Nkumbo Village Mitunguu, which occurred on 16th November, 2020 through a tragic road accident He was Director Times U Sacco, retired A.E.O and former Mitunguu Circuit Steward, Methodist Church.

Son of the late Celestino M’Twamwari and Esther Nkirote. Son-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs M’Mungania and the late Mr & Mrs M’Ildao. Beloved husband of the late Grace Wanja and Monicah Mugambi. Father of Stephen Kirimi (Nairobi), Alice Mulaa (Jamaica), Mercy Mugambi (Nairobi), Lucy Koome (Nkubu), Joyce Karimi (Meru), Jim Mwiti (Australia), Doreen Mutugi (Australia), Purity Muchai (Australia) & Antony Koome (Nairobi). Father-in-law of Joseph Mulaa (Jamaica), Dave Muronga (Nkubu), Nelson Koome (Nkubu), Fridah Mwiti (Australia), Lenny Mutugi (Australia), Edwin Muchai (Australia) & Consolata Koome (Australia). Grandfather of 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many others who knew him as Grandfather by his love for them. Brother of Mwongera, Kimathi, Mbaabu, Mwenda, Mugure, Gakii, Kinanu, Kathure & Nkatha.

Burial arrangements are on going at his home in Mitunguu.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home for a funeral service which will be held on Wednesday 9th December 2020 at Mitunguu Methodist Church, from 10.00am and thereafter will be laid to rest at his home.

We announce with great sadness the demise of Raynor Hilton Njoroge Karloki, which occurred on 23rd November, 2020.

He is survived by his wife Valentine Njeri, parents Grace Njambi and James Njoroge Karioki, his son Lennox Njoroge and daughter Ivy Njeri. Grandson of the late Salome Mukami, the late Hilton Karioki, the late Gladys Wanjiru and the late Bethuel Ng’ang’a. He is also survived by his sister Amy Mukami Njenga, his brothers Michael Ng’ang’a and Charles Waithaka. He had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was buried on 25 November, 2020 in accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to many, especially those family members and friends who were instrumental in taking great and loving care of him during his illness in his final days.

May the good Lord grant him eternal rest and peace which are so elusive in this world.

Loving husband of Catherine Wanjiku Kimani formerly of Pumwani Maternity Hospital. Loving father of Simon Gitau (Kenya Railway Golf Club), John Githiri (Nation Media), Loise Kimani (Bandari Sacco), Samuel Njuguna (Marurui) and Alice Wangui (The Aga Khan Hospital). Father-in-law of Margaret Gitau Kahiga (AAR Mombasa) and Mugo Karuri (Aga Khan Hospital). Grandfather of Ivy Gitau, Adran Karuri and Peter Kimani. Brother of the late Samuel Njuguna, the late George Ngugi, Jedida Kinyanjui, Grace Gakuo, Dorothy Wangui, Margaret Waithera and Joshua Kinyanjui.

Funeral Arrangements are being held at his home Uhuru Estate Phase IV and Githunguri Mathanja Farm.

There will be a memorial service at PCEA Bahati Martyrs’ Church on Sunday 6th December at 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home (Githunguri) on Monday 7th December, 2020 at 8:00 am for Funeral Service at his Mathanja Farm from 10:00am.

Adoring father of Mark, Richard, the late Awino, Vincent, the late Anna, Jacinta, Joannes, Veronika, the late Turfena and Benta. Grandfather of Ernie, Robbinson, Flevian, Ronny, Edwine, Ochieng, Wera, Reagan, Ray, Lui. Brother of the late Awana and Orwa. Step-Brother of the late Vincent, Joseph. Cousin of Vincent, Raphael, the late Were and the late Dismas. Father-in-law of Gladys, Rose, Emily, and Mary.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home, Mbuye Village from 6.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Owen Funeral Home, Bondo, on Thursday 10th December, 2020 at 12.000pm, followed by a requiem mass at St. Margaret Serawongo Sub-Parish from 2.00pm.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Friday, 11th December, 2020 at his home, Mbuye Nyangoma Sub-location, Central Sakwa Location, Bondo, Siaya County, starting at 10.00am.

He was brother to Leba Ajema, Levi Ambaka (late), Efetha (late) Ezinah Makungu (late), Naftali Kegode, Joash Balusi and John Mmbira (late) Husband to Rael Chavalangi (late) and Rael Ahonge (late). He was father to Jane Musasia, Andrew Musasia, Albert Musasia, Richard Musasia, Florence Musasia (late), Emily Musasia, John Musasia, Reuben Musasia,Alice Musasia, Minage Musasia (late) and Musa Balusi. He was father In-law to Clement Were, Alice Shireku, Mary Warutere, Rosebella Benderi, James Nyantika, Charles jakaa (late) Margaret Olando, Mary Ngisa and Simon Opondo. He was grandfather and great grandfather to many.

The Cortege leaves Crystal Cottage Hospital Mortuary, Kitale, today Friday, 4th December 2020. Burial will be on Saturday, 5th December, 2020 at his home in Makutano kwa Ngozi, Plot 94, Cherangany, Trans Nzoia County.

She was wife to the late Hon. Peter Frederick Kibisu, former Member of Parliament for the larger Vihiga Constituency and Assistant Minister for Labour; daughter to the late John Odebero Mutanda and Magdalena Apondi, and daughter-in-law to the late Loyenze Lidaywa and Milka Gumaya. Mother to Charles & Mary Kibisu, Rosemary & the late Lucas Nyolde, Stanley & Florence Sagide, Hilda & David Odanga, the late Anthony & Rose Amugune, Togo & Pendo Kasoro, Alice & Elikana Shivairo, Josephine & David Ziwa. Grandmother to Fred, Charles, Peter, Yvonne, Adrian, Yvette, Brian, Denise, John, Daniella, Ian, Ivy, Vanessa, Jonathan, Azariah and Asael. Great Grand-mother to Bill, Dylan, Sean, Giselle, Baraka, Ranelle, Donne and Deanne.

Brother in-law of the late Njiru Kimunyi, Wachira Nyaga, and Mugo Kimunyi. Father-in-law of Mwangi Muiruri (USA), Jane Gathirwa (Utawala), Desiree Kamau (USA) and Jacinta Njoroge (Ruthimitu Mixed sec school).
