Husband of Isabella Moraa (retired Teacher Kioge Primary School). Father of Everline, Obed, the late Monyangi, Trizah, the late Nancy, Jackline, Lydiah, Jeremiah and Ruth. Grandfather of Brian, Roseann, Benadette, Faith, Bill, Ken, Grace, Stacy, Ashley, Caleb, Gabriel, Nancy, Hadji, Crispol, Ian, Branton, Genesis, Paul, Paulette, Paula, Tamara, Trevor, Tatiana, Adrian, Adriana, Eugene, Euvene, Eujoy, and Dorcas. Great-grandfather of Nillan.

The body is lying at the Kisii Level 6 Hospital Mortuary. The cortege leaves the Mortuary, on 3rd December, 2020 for burial on 4th December 2020 at his farm in Bonyagatanyi, Kioge, Kitutu Chache South.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the death of Bibian Vivi Munyoki, which occurred on the 27th November, 2020, at Machakos Level 5 Hospital.

Wife of Dennis Munyoki Mutua (Ministry of Lands & Physical Planning). Doting mother of Brian Munyoki and Tinex Sarah Munyoki. Daughter of Mr & Mrs Phythew Mulevu Mutala. Daughter-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. John Mutua Nzila. Sister of Sapphira, Maureen, Daisy, Reinhardt, Judy, Philip, Paul, Lilian, Pius, Patel, Rosa, Caro and Dennis. Sister-in-law of Eric, Lawrence, Eunice, Evelyn, Rosemary, Jane, Benta, Peninah, Grace, Titus and Shaddie Mutua.

Meetings are being held at Nairobi, and also at Kivuuni Village in Mwingi and Maliku in Kitui County.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University (KU) Funeral Home on Saturday 5th December, 2020 at 6.00am, for service and burial at her home in Kivuuni Village, Mui Location, Mwingi Sub-County, Kitui County.

Wife to Peter Matifary (Retired Dentist, Bungoma District Hospital). Daughter of the late Dr. Yona Otsyula and Neddy Wanyama. Mother to Rebecca Matifary (Mukhuyu Primary School), Dr. Carolyne Robai Matifary (Kenyatta National Hospital), Fridah Matifary and Yonah Wangila. Sister to Prof. Otsyula, John, Dan, Mike, Ben Wanyama (Dir. Livestock, Kakamega County), Evelyne, Milka, Rose, Praxedes, Joy, Linnet, Doreen, Josephine, Khendo, Claire among others. Daughter in law to the late Luka Matifary and Fridah Namarome of Mayanja-Kibuke, Bungoma. Sister-in-law to many. Mother-in-law to Gilbert, Joseph and Nancy. Grandmother to Daniella, Peter, Junior, Jasmine and Luka. She was niece, cousin, and aunty to the Ongeti family and a granddaughter, niece, cousin, aunty to the Udoto family and the Otsyula family.

There will be a requiem mass at Don Bosco Catholic Church in Nairobi on Tuesday 1/12/2020 at 10:00 am.

The cortege leaves KNH Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 3/12/2020 for Bungoma. The burial service will be held on Saturday 5/12/2020 at her rural home in Mayanja — Kibuke village, Bungoma County at 9:00 am.

16th January, 1981 – 26th November, 2020

Daughter of the late Ibrahim Kuria Rukungu and the late Gladys Wairimu Mwaura. Daughter-in-Law of Edward Mungai Wang’ang’a and Loise Wambui Mungai of Gitaru Mlango Soko. Loving wife of John Njoroge Mungai of Melsa Enterprises Ltd. Dotting mother of Melvin Mungai Njoroge (formerly of Kijabe Boys), Melissa Wambui Njoroge (Gitwe Girls), Samuel George Njoroge Jr. (Kikuyu Township Primary School) and baby Gladys Wairimu Njoroge. Beloved sister of George Rukungu (National Police Service) and Phyllis Njeri (MovaPay). Sister-in-law of Jane Wangari, Samuel Ngigi & Others. Niece of James Mwaura, Joyce Wangari, Mary Nduta, among others. Cousin of George Wambugu, Millicent Waikuru, among others. An Aunt to many.

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at their home in Gitaru, Mlango Soko from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Memorial Home, Northern By-Pass on Thursday 3rd December, 2020 at 7.00am and thereafter, funeral service and burial at their home, Undiri in Kikuyu, starting at 11.00am.

1980 – 2020

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the family of Anthony Muriuki Mugo, announce his demise on Monday 23rd November 2020.

Husband of Sylviah Woki Muriuki. Father of Humprey Haniel Mugo Muriuki, Florence Wambui Muriuki (Bobo) of Braeburn Imani International School Thika and Shanaya Nashipae Muriuki.

The third child of Teresia Waguama and Haniel Mugo. Son-in-law of Joseph Kamau Kihaguru and Florence Wambuku Kamau. Brother of Emily Waithera, the late Damaris Wanjiru, Martin Muchira and Paul Kibuti. Brother-in-law of Martin Mungai, Leah Mungai, Mary Kamau, Anne Kamau, Geoffrey Mwathi, Damaris Nyakio and Elsie Chepchirchir Muchira.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Gituto Village.

The Cortege will leave Kibugi Funeral Home in Kutus Town, on Wednesday 2nd December, 2020, at 10:00am for a church mass and thereafter the burial will be held at his home in Gituto Village, Kirinyaga County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Albert Josiah Kinyua Ruturi on November 24th, 2020 after a short illness.

He was laid to rest at a private ceremony in line with his wishes.

Son of the late Francis Njuguna and Esther Wairuri. Husband of Grace Wanjiru. Father of Jane Nyambura, Esther Wairuri, Judy Wanjiku, Cathrine Muthoni, Ann Njambi, Joyce Wairimu, and Susan Wambui. Brother of Mathew Njuguna, the late Jane Wanjiru, Nancy Gachambi, Elizabeth Wambui, Moses Gatuma and the late Joshua Kariungu. Son in law of the late John Mwangi and Alice Wachinga, father in law of Samuel Andayi, Peter Ngigi and Moses Gitonga and grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Voi and Makuyu Murang’a County for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves at Kenyatta University KU funeral home on Wednesday 02/12/2020 at 09.00 am proceeding for a mass at our home in Makuyu Murang’a County at 11:00am and thereafter burial at the same place.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing on of Virginia Wanjiru Kibicho.

Daughter of the late Wagura Maingi and the late Wambui Wagura. Daughter-in-law of the late Samuel King’ori Kibicho and the late Wothaya King’ori.

Sister of the late Wangeci, Nyanjugu, Maingi, Wairimu, Wambugu, Thimba, Nyakwea, Irungu, Wangui and Wamucii. Sister-in-law of the late Jane Maina and Jedidah Kanyago.

Grandmother of Rashiey, Eve, Abigail, James and Anne.

She will be laid to rest at her home in Othaya on Thursday 3 December 2020.

A doting father of Boniface Karanja, Jack Gitau and Lawrence Kimani. Father-in-love to Judy Njeri, Jackline Wahito, FaithLeah Wamaitha. A treasured grandfather of Jason Njoroge, Ephantus, Wendy, Javierra and Sharieen. Brother of the late Francis Kimani, Martin Wangunyu, late Gabriel Nclicu, Isaac Muriuki, Daniel Muiruri, Moses Kamau, Hon. Pius Mwaura, Eliud Mathu and Teresiah Wangari. He is nephew, uncle, cousin and in-law to many.
