It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Moses Kabugi Karunji on 27th November, 2020 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi after a short illness.

Son of the late Samson Karunji Kabugi and Beatrice Njeri Karunji. Husband of the late Sarah Njuguini Kabugi. Father of Schola Njeri Kabugi, Jimmy Karunji Kabugi, Sammy Mugo Kabugi, Peter Kimani Kabugi and Susan Kabura Kabugi. Grandfather of Vanessa, Ethan, Natasha, Duane, Bryan, Sarah, and Nina. Great grandfather of Levi. Father-in-law of Joe, Carol,Tabitha, and Maria. Brother of James Kimani, Grace Kabura, Benson Kamau, Peter Karanja, Susan Wanjiru and the late Stephen Munene.

Son of the late Mwangi Gathaiya and the late Nancy Nyawira. Husband of the late Josphine Njoki and Eunice Wambere. Brother of Loise Wanjiku, the late Edith Wakabari and Jeofrey Nginyi. Father of David Mwangi and Grace Wanjiru, the late Daniel Kinyua and Ann Wangari, Nancy Nyawira, Margret Wambui and Kagume, Loise Wanjiku Njogu, Jeoffrey Nginyi, Wangu and Kimani, the late Edith Wakabari and Jane. Grandfather of Njoki, Muthoni, Nyawira (Mwangi) Njoki, Waithera (Kinyua) Carol, Martin, George (Nyawira) Waruguru, Muranya, Carol (Kagumi) Kibuchi,Wambui (Njogu) Kimani, Mbogo (Wangu) Louise, the late Mbogo (Edith). Great-grandfather to many. Son-in-law of the late Stephen Ngigi Machere and the late Priscilla Wakiini. Brother of Josphine, Muriuki, Muthoni, Wanjira, Abija, Kagio, Kinyua, Wambara, Muriithi, Bella, Kathoni, Ikahu.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his residence in Kerugoya and Mukonyo village in Kiamaina starting 4:00pm daily for funeral arrangement.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Northern Bypass), on Friday 4/12/2020 at 8:00am. A Funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Ack Cathedral, Kerugoya, starting 10:30am and burial will take place thereafter at his home Mukonyo Kiamaina village, Kirinyaga County.

It is with a lot of pain but humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Maurice Agutu Okelo, formerly of Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Times Tower, which occurred on Wednesday 18th November, 2020.

Son to the late Mzee Andrea Okelo and the late Mama Cathorina Okelo of Kitere Village. Son-in-Law to Mzee Josiah Okungu and Mama Ruth Omondi of Kamagambo, Ongo Village. He was the step-son to Millicent Okelo and Step-brother to Felix, Jacob, Maselina, Cathorina and Christopher. Beloved husband to Caren Akoth Okelo. Loving dad to Imelda, Mike, Winnie, June, Audrey, Tonia, Brian and Andrew. He was brother to Charles Okelo of Ng’ou Primary School, Mary Ager of Kochia, Rose Bondo of Kabuoch, the late Angelina Abira and Siprina Tito both of Kamagambo.

Brother-in-law to Julius Ager, Naphtali Bondo, the late Abira Kamete, Titus Odek, the late Charles Omondi, Margaret Mliwa, Rose Omondi (Mombasa), Fred (KPA), Joshua (PPRA), the late Dorothy, Tom (DoD), Emily (Nairobi), Joseph (CIC), Frank (KRA), and Edwin Odero. Uncle to Jossy Abira, Millicent, Ken, Adhiambo, Robert, Philip, Monica, Ouma, and many others. Father in law to Erick Ogallo. Grandfather to Christian and Milani.

To defray the funeral costs, there will be a fundraiser on Tuesday 1st December 2020 at his Nairobi home (Imara Daima, Sunrise Estate, Farasi Court) from 3pm. Any Financial support should be channeled to Mpesa Number 0723 957 228 (Frank Omondi).

There will be a short service on Thursday 3rd December, 2020 at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home chapel at 7:30am before the cortege leaves for his rural home in Kitere Village (next to Rongo University), Rongo Sub-County, Migori County. He will be laid to rest on Friday 4th December 2020.

Wife of the late Benson Nyachieo. Co-wife of Motabori and Bochaberi. Daughter of the late Christopher Mesa and the late Maria Rosa. Sister of the late Masita, Motito, Otao, the late Aganga, the late Atuya, James, Moraa, & the late Zachary. Mother of the late Eng. Getuno, Charles, Teresia, Michoki, Benard of OAG Kenya, Samuel & Joseph. Step-mother of the late Stanley, David, Mary, Charles, Loice, Stellar, Florence, John, Monica, the late Isabella, Andrew, Ann, Jack, Nancy. Mother-in-law of Dina, Caren, Agnes, Caroline & Phanice. Korera of Mr&Mrs Nyarango, Maina, Johnson, Kayu and Mariana. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her send off is scheduled to be on Friday 4th December, 2020 at her home in Ikonge.

Loving Husband of Margaret Muthoni Mbugua and the doting Father of David Nginyo Mbugua, Stanley Mains Mbugua and Alvin Mwaura Mbugua. Son of the late Karen Wanjiku Mwaura Kimani. Twin Brother of Boniface Nginyo, the late Jack Mwaura and Carole Kimani, a Cousin and Uncle of many.

Friends and family are meeting to console with the Family from Monday 30th November to Thursday 3rd December, 2020 in his home in Kikuyu from 3.00pm – 6:30pm and Caribea Restaurant off Wood Ave. from 4:30pm 6;30pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, on 4th December, 2020, at 9.30am, for a funeral service at Nairobi Chapel Ngong Road at 10.30am and thereafter burial at Lang’ata Cemetery.

Son of the late Amos Ng’ang’a and the late Lilian Njuguini. Beloved husband to Lucy Wambui Nduati. Father to Aiddah Wanjiku, Lilian Njuguini, jeniffer Nyambura, Amos Ng’ang’a and Agnes Wangari. Grandfather to Allan Kamau, Tirrus Nduati, Peter Gitahi, Christian Nduati, Amanda Mudibo, Patrick Njau, Calvin Nduati, Clere Wanjiku, Ryan Nduati, Elsa Wambui and Tasha Waihumbu. Brother to Robinson Ngare, jeniffer Wambui, Patrick Irungu, Susan Wanjiku, James Kinyua, Peter Ndung’u and Lucy Waithira.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Maringo estate at 4pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Thika Road Branch on Thursday 3rd December, 2020 at 8:00am for a funeral service at Kamung’ang’a (ACK) Church Gachocho Village, Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County at 10:00am followed by burial at his home Mutaro Village.

Sister of Gladys Wangithi Kimenju (Thika), Michael Mit-ini Kimenju (Bollore), Emily Wakini Kimenju, Leonard Maina Kimenju, Lucia Muthoni Kimenju (King Fahand Refferal Hospital, Lamu) and Julian Micere Kimenju. Daughter-in-law of the late John R.N. Macharia and Mrs. Rosedaisy Ruguru Macharia. Sister-in-law of Mrs. Jane Wangui Tayi (Zimbabwe), Ruth Nduma Macharia, Mrs. Particia Wangari Mwanzia (Sanlam), Dr. Margaret Ngima Macharia-Kedogo (UoN), Violet Gloria Mbiro Macharia, Dr. Joash Tayi (Zimbabwe), Dr. Joseph Kedogo Masila (TUK, Nairobi), the late Phillip Muhia Ngugi and Kelly Mbugua (Shades of Africa). Sister of Maurice Mumbo, the late Wilkista Onono, the late Job Oselu, the late Esau Ondu, Tom Aduma Onyango, the late Timothy Agumba, the late Grace Aketch and Rachel Adongo of Muhoroni. Sister-in-law to Owili & Agnes Akinyi, Joseph & the late Margaret Ogot, Jackton & the late Mercy Orende, the late Jekoniah Ayaga, Elizabeth Ooga,Vincent & Hellen Oduogo, Peter & Liz Onunda, Florence Achiando and Joab Oluoch. Mother of Margaret Nyambura, Anthony Kibiribiri, Samuel Mwangi, (All of Malindi), Dr. Josphat Kamau (Thome) and James Kamotho (Malindi). Sister of the late Phillip Mwangi Kibiribiri, Elizabeth Njeri Kibiribiri the late John Mwangi Kibiribiri, Josphat Kamau Kibiribiri, the late Catherine Nduta Kibiribiri and Sammy Kiringa Kibiribiri. Mother-in-law of Joseph Mugo, Rosemary Njoki, Mary Mwihaki and Wanjiru Kamau. A grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt and cousin to many.

Meetings will be taking place at Blue Springs Hotel along Thika Road opposite Garden City and at her home in Landless Thika, Malawi Street, from Monday 30th November, 2020 , from 4.00pm-7.00pm.

The cortege will leave from Montezuma Funeral home Kabati at 8.30am on Thursday 3rd December 2020. The funeral service will be at 10.00am at ACK St. Monica Mugumoini in Thika (Section 9).Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at her farm in Kabati, Methi Village, Muranga County.
