Daughter of the late Lyani Murenyi (Omumachina) and the late Susan Makhakha (Omugachi). Wife of the late Francis Muliro Wamala.

Mother of the late William, Ruth Barasa, the late Joy Nakhumicha, the late Barasa, the late Fredrick Khaemba, Jafred Kimokoti (formely Nzoia Sugar Co.), Dr. Alfred Murumba (Presybeterian University), Grace Nabalayo (Wabukhonyi Primary), Jennifer Nanjala (Kocholia Hospital) and Janice Barasa (Namarambi Dispensary).

Mother-in-law of Irene Naliaka, Beatrice Kimokoti, Josephine Murumba, the late Victor Barasa, Jefunea Wafula and Barasa Kilong’i. Sister of the late Stanley, Jacob, Jafred, Jane, the late Kiveu, the late Grace and the late Zachary.

Grandmother of Sarah, Catto, the late Chris, Oliver, Nalonja, Seddyc, Reba, Dr. Kimokoti, lyani, Levi, Belynder, Dr. Susan, Abraham, Antony, Edwin, Brenda, Susan, Kevin, Linda, Eric, Alvin, Freddy and Daisy among others. Aunty, cousin and great grandmother of many.

The cortege will leave Lugulu Mission Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 13/10/2020. Burial will take place on Wednesday 14/10/2020 at her home in Namarambi Village, Webuye East Consituency, Bungoma County.

She was the loving wife to the late Erastus Njue and daughter to late Magana Njagi (Kiginyo) and the late Jerusha Maitha Njagi. She was sister to late Nderi Ruiga Njagi and Catherine Ciamati Kabui, Daughter- in-law of Cieruma & Nthumbi Kiganka. Sister-in-law to Kagendo & Ndeke; Mate Nthumbi; Late Njoka and Nkoru Nthumbi

Loving mother to Prof. Jotham (KeMU) and former Director KNH) & Florence Micheni (KNH); late Kanyua & late Mukuru Birichi; late Francis Njeru; Catherine & Micheni Nthigai (KDF Nairobi); Dorothy & Chief Micheni Borana and Gitonga & Regina.

She was auntie to Kinyua, Mugendi, Mwiti, late Mugambi, Muthoni, Gitonga, Karimi, late Kangai, Murithi, Njeru and Mugendi.

Grandmother to Linda, Mary, Jeniffer, late Sessarod, Casperin, Ian, Gakii, Muteti, Kawira, Murithi, Mwenda, Mwende, Gakii and Antony. She was great grandmother to Marcus Muthomi, Declan Murithi, MeIvin Chege, Adan Munene, Sabrina Kendi, Reinna Makena and Jonathan Mutugi.

Due to MOH regulations on COVID-19 pandemic, family and committee members are meeting at her home Gatirini Village from 4.00p,m – 6p.m.

The cortege leaves PCEA Chogoria Hospital mortuary on Friday 16th October 2020 at 9:30AM for memorial services at PCEA Kiereni Church at 10.30 AM. Thereafter burial will take place at her home Gatirini village, Mugwe Ward, Chuka, at 12:30PM.

Daughter of late Misheck Mugambi and his wife, late Faith Kajugu Misheck. She was stepdaughter to Mrs Grace Thirindi Misheck. Mother to Eric Mawira, Derrick Sinto and Kevin Mwidani. Sister to Mrs. Pitness Kabiru Kamundi, Mercy Kathomi Miriti, Kelly Gatakaa Njuki and late Dunstan Murungi Misheck. Mother-in-law to Doreen Mawira and Catherine Sinto. Grandmother to Tamika Kendi, Velma Kinya, Lincoln Mugambi and Liam Mugendi. Sister-in-law to late Julis Kamundi, Nimrod Miriti, Robert Njue Mugambi, Alicent Wanja Murungi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Magutuni home, Maara sub-county Tharaka Nithi County for prayers and preparation from 3:00 pm observing social distance as per the ministry of health protocol.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monallisa funeral home on Tuesday 13th October, 2020 at 8:30 am for funeral service and burial at her Magutuni home.

He is survived by his Loving wife Purity Nyaruai (Nyatoro), and children Samuel Maina, Martin Ndiang’ui and Nancy Gathoni. He is father in law to Sarah Muthoni. Fredrick is the son of the Late Samuel Kingi and the Late Nancy Gathoni. Son in law to the late Ndiang’ui Munuhe and the late Jedidah Wanja. Brother to Regina Wanjiru, The late Ceasar Gathimba, Irene Njoki and The late Peterson Muturi. Grandfather to Nathan, Hope and Ivan. Brother in law to Peterson Mureithi, Faith Wambui, Charles Munuhe, Jane Muthoni, Judy Kirigo, Duncan Komu and Risper Mumbi. He was a friend uncle and cousin to many.

At Kinangop, church, family and friends are meeting at his home in Kitiri scheme while in Nairobi friends are meeting at Norwich union house every week day starting at 6pm for prayers and funeral Arrangements.

Wife of Aloys Ochieng’ Ang’asa (formerly of CA), loving and caring mother of Cynthia, Robert and Santa; stepmother of Juma, Kubasu, Bryan, Lorna, Aloys Jnr, Marion and Veronica.

Daughter of the Late Andrea Owondo and Late Mama Teresa Owondo, and daughter-in-law of the late Aloys Ang’asa Odinga and Late Mama Veronica Ang’asa.

Sister of Ludwina, Agatha, Vincent, Lucia, Patrick, Mathew, John Bosco and Mactilda and sister-in-law of the late Andrew, late Sophia, late Albert, Christine, Donald, late Godric, Justine, Julia, Scholastica, James, and niece, cousin, aunt as well as grandmother of many.

The body is lying at the Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kileleshwa on Thursday 15th October at 10a.m.

Burial will be at her home at Budama Village, Lugulu Sublocation, Butula Subcounty, Busia County on Saturday 17th October 2020.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Nairobi, Kilimani-Villacom Estate, Likoni Rd, off Dennis Pritt Road, Hse No. 33.
