It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on into glory of Lydia Ciakirimo Njue which occurred on Tuesday 6th, October 2020, at PCEA Chogoria Hospital (ICU) after a long illness.

She was the loving wife to the late Erastus Njue and daughter to late Magana Njagi (Kiginyo) and the late Jerusha Maitha Njagi. She was sister to late Nderi Ruiga Njagi and Catherine Ciamati Kabui, Daughter- in-law of Cieruma & Nthumbi Kiganka. Sister-in-law to Kagendo & Ndeke; Mate Nthumbi; Late Njoka and Nkoru Nthumbi

Loving mother to Prof. Jotham (KeMU) and former Director KNH) & Florence Micheni (KNH); late Kanyua & late Mukuru Birichi; late Francis Njeru; Catherine & Micheni Nthigai (KDF Nairobi); Dorothy & Chief Micheni Borana and Gitonga & Regina.

She was auntie to Kinyua, Mugendi, Mwiti, late Mugambi, Muthoni, Gitonga, Karimi, late Kangai, Murithi, Njeru and Mugendi.

Grandmother to Linda, Mary, Jeniffer, late Sessarod, Casperin, Ian, Gakii, Muteti, Kawira, Murithi, Mwenda, Mwende, Gakii and Antony. She was great grandmother to Marcus Muthomi, Declan Murithi, MeIvin Chege, Adan Munene, Sabrina Kendi, Reinna Makena and Jonathan Mutugi.

Due to MOH regulations on COVID-19 pandemic, family and committee members are meeting at her home Gatirini Village from 4.00p,m – 6p.m.

The cortege leaves PCEA Chogoria Hospital mortuary on Friday 16th October 2020 at 9:30AM for memorial services at PCEA Kiereni Church at 10.30 AM. Thereafter burial will take place at her home Gatirini village, Mugwe Ward, Chuka, at 12:30PM.

Mother of Peter Ngaya, Abel Mititi, Omare O’Mititi (USA), Yabesh Makori, Rachael Magoma, Ann Omani (Agriculture, Nyamira), Elijah Mititi (KMTC HQRS) and the late Julian Bosibori. Mother in law of Teresa Ngaya, Rebecca Wairimu Onwonga, Catherine Wambui Omare, Eunice Makori, Justus Omani and Rhoda Nyaruai Seki. Sister of the late Meshack Okebiro, the late Rusaria Chuma, the late Otaro Maari, the late Miinda, the late Ombwori, the late Riechi, the late Matundura, Martha Ogwora and Temu Nyangau. Grandmother of George Ngaya, Kennedy Nyatuka, Jackline Kwamboka Omare (K.A.A), Alice Kwamboka (MP Shah), Dr. Dennis Omani (KTRH), Roseline Kwamboka Seki, Eunice Kwamboka (Pakistan) among many others, Aunt of Okebiros, Riechis, Miindas, Ombworis, Otaros,Temus, Chumas, Ogworas, Moruris, Achukas, Oburus, Nyamwaros and many others.

The main fundraising is scheduled on Tuesday, 13th October 2020 from 5pm at Maxwell Central SDA church (opposite Integrity Centre). Contributions can be sent to Mpesa paybill no.7005157 (Account No:Your Name).

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral home (Mbagathi way, Nairobi) on Thursday, 15th October 2020 at 8am. Burial will be held on Friday 16th October 2020 at her home in Nyamakoroto Village, Sungututa sub-Location, Gesima Location, Nyamira County.

Friends and Relatives are meeting every day at home, near Irinda Primary School and PCEA Meru Town Church for Funeral Arrangements starting at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Thursday [510.2020 at 8.00AM for a funeral service at PCEA Meru Town Church at 9.00am and later a procession to her home in Magundu village, Meru County where she will be laid to rest.

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Fredrick Kingi Gathogo (Fred) on Tuesday the 6th of October 2020 at Nairobi Hospital following a short illness. Fredrick formerly worked at National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation (NWCPC). Fred was a PCEA Elder and formerly Session Clerk Kinangop Central Parish

He is survived by his Loving wife Purity Nyaruai (Nyatoro), and children Samuel Maina, Martin Ndiang’ui and Nancy Gathoni. He is father in law to Sarah Muthoni. Fredrick is the son of the Late Samuel Kingi and the Late Nancy Gathoni. Son in law to the late Ndiang’ui Munuhe and the late Jedidah Wanja. Brother to Regina Wanjiru, The late Ceasar Gathimba, Irene Njoki and The late Peterson Muturi. Grandfather to Nathan, Hope and Ivan. Brother in law to Peterson Mureithi, Faith Wambui, Charles Munuhe, Jane Muthoni, Judy Kirigo, Duncan Komu and Risper Mumbi. He was a friend uncle and cousin to many.

At Kinangop, church, family and friends are meeting at his home in Kitiri scheme while in Nairobi friends are meeting at Norwich union house every week day starting at 6pm for prayers and funeral Arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati at 7:00am, for burial at his ancestral home in Karatina Thaithi village on Thursday 15th of October at 10:00am.
