Daughter of the late Felix Andalo and the late Joska Makachia of Shiatsala village, Marama Location, Butere, Kakamega County. Daughter-in-law of the late Jekonia Kwasa and the late Theresa Katono Kwasa. Mother of Donald Otieno, Carol Adero, Nicholas & Suparat Kwasa, Thomas Omolo, Clement Onyango and Dr Judith & Dr. Chebii Kipkulei. Step Mother of Harold, Shadrack & Naomi Kwasa, and Kevin. Sister of the late  Rita Inyangala Alala of Kisa, Christine Obutombe Aura of Kitale, Betty Amulabu Alala of Kisa and Catherine Atenya Ingari of Bukura.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Sammy Gideon Mwando who was an employee of Bayer East Africa Ltd, which occurred on Friday, 16th June 2017 at Nairobi Hospital.

Son of the late Mwando Kimuyu and the late Nora Syongombe. Loving husband of Jane Mueni.

Father of Anthony Muasya and Brian Kimuyu.

Brother of the late David Kimuyu. Son in law of Rosalia Ndindi and Joseph Kimaru of Masii sub county. Brother in law of Evans Musyoki, Michael Muthini, Beatrice Kimuyu and Gladys Nzisa. Uncle of Matuku, Amina, Emma Muuo, Kimuyu, Mweni and Mweu. Nephew of Mbuku Kiuluku of Mtito Andei.

Sammy comes from Matinga village, KIbwezi sub county, Makueni County.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Garden Squae and at their home in Utawala.

Burial will take place on Saturday June 24th 2017 at his home in Kibwezi, Mtito Andei.

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Hannah Wanjiru Macharia of Kiroro village, Thiha sublocation, Muhito, Mukurweini Nyeri, which occurred on 18th June 2017. Daughter of the late Kariuki wa Wathia and Gladys Ngima Kariuki. Sister of Francis Wambugu Kariuki, the late Phylis Wangui Karita, Esther Wangari Gacheca and Johnson Kanyi Kariuki. Mother of Peter and Kesia Mwangi, David and Margaret Kariuki (Kiroro Investigators), Mary and David Githinji (KMTC – Nyeri), Gladys Ngima Macharia (New light Academy) and Elizabeth Wamuyu Macharia. Grandmother and great grandmother of many children.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kiroro village from 4:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Mukureini Sub-County Hospital Mortuary on Friday 23rd June 2017 at 8:00 a.m. for PCEA Gathitu church for funeral service at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at her farm in Kiroro village.

1928 15.6.2017      It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of my beloved husband, our dad and brother, Evans Mwaura Githuka, of Captain, 0I Kalou, Nyandarua County, that occurred on 15th June 2017.
Son of the late Wilson Githuka and the late Peris Wanja Githuka. Husband of Margaret Wangui Mwaura. Father of George Githuka, Wanja Mwaura-Tenambergen and the late Lucy Nduta. Brother of Eunice Wangare, the late Samuel Mutari, Albert Ngotho, the late Daniel Mbugua, Lillian Wairimu, the late Danson Kariuki, James Ng’ang’a, and Lawrence Kamau. Step-brother of Tabitha Wambui and David Mwaura, and grandfather of many.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru on Wednesday, 21 st June 2017 at 8.30am and the burial will be on the same day at 11 am in Captain, 0I Kalou.
