Born to the late Jairus Magornere & the late Esther Mugwari of Ivola village, Hamisi Constituency in the current Vihiga County. Sister to Ben, Dorothy, Nobert, Jackson & Mmboga (late); Wife to Edward Eyase Kimulu; Mother to Caroline, Hillary (late), Ivy, Kelvin, Vera, Robert (late), Vivienne, Brian & Jerry; Grandmother to Sonia, Sasha, Josh,K elline, Skylar, SkylarRose & KelcyRose; Mother-in-Law of Philip, Dan & Mercyline.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Crystal Cottage Hospital Morgue on Friday 16th October for requime service at Bahati PAG church before proceeding for an overnight stay at her Kobos farm home. The burial will be on Saturday 17th October 2020.

Daughter of Alexander and Marjorie Maimba, loving wife of Dr. Macharia Kiruhi, (Kenya Methodist University), mother of Thomas Kiruhi, Christine Wanjiru and Ishmael Maina (Strathmore University). Mother in law of Francis Kihiu and doting grandmother of Claire Nyaguthii and Janice Wanjiku. Sister of Charity Muthoni, Teresa Nyaguthii, James Wambugu, Edward Theuri, Michael Kamwaro, the late Michael Mwangi, the late Matthew Wamiti, the late John Kariuki, the late Dominic Makara, the late Joseph Wairagu, the late Elmenjindio Kibaara, loving Auntie and grandmother of many.

The funeral mass will be held at Mwenji Catholic Church on Wednesday 14th October at 10.30am and thereafter burial at their home in Wamugo village, Ngoru sub location, Nyeri.

The cortege leaves Longisa Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 13th Oct 2020 for mass service at Gelegele Catholic church and proceed for overnight stay at her Gelegele home. Burial will be on Wednesday 14th October 2020.

He was the Brother of Rhoda, Rosebella, Mirriam, the late Mary, Boaz, Amelia, Joyce, Odeke, the late John, Mary, Amai, the late Akisa, Janet, the late Penina. Jacob, the late Nyongesa, Nicholas, Hellen and Jeremiah. He was the Father in-law of Hillary, Namawa, Engineer Patrick, Douglas, Jake of England, Doreen, Stellah, Brenda of Australia, Rose, Esther and Caro. He has left a generation of 24 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren by extension.

The cortege leaves Kitale Nursing Home (Mahinda’s) on Monday 12th October 2020 to ACK St. Luke’s Cathedral Kitale for a funeral service. There after stop overs at Kitale Lions house and Alakara Hotel. The procession proceeds to Ateukoto farm for a vigil and eventual burial on 13th Tuesday October 2020.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at George Kariuki’s residence in Ruaka.

The cortege will leave St Terezas Hospital Mortuary Thindigua on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at 9.00am followed by funeral service and burial on the same day at Ruaka.

Loving mother to Prof. Jotham (KeMU) and former Director KNH) & Florence Micheni (KNH); late Kanyua & late Mukuru Birichi; late Francis Njeru; Catherine & Micheni Nthigai (KDF Nairobi); Dorothy & Chief Micheni Borana and Gitonga & Regina.

She was auntie to Kinyua, Mugendi, Mwiti, late Mugambi, Muthoni, Gitonga, Karimi, late Kangai, Murithi, Njeru and Mugendi.

Grandmother to Linda, Mary, Jeniffer, late Sessarod, Casperin, Ian, Gakii, Muteti, Kawira, Murithi, Mwenda, Mwende, Gakii and Antony. She was great grandmother to Marcus Muthomi, Declan Murithi, MeIvin Chege, Adan Munene, Sabrina Kendi, Reinna Makena and Jonathan Mutugi.

Due to MOH regulations on COVID-19 pandemic, family and committee members are meeting at her home Gatirini Village from 4.00p,m – 6p.m.

The cortege leaves PCEA Chogoria Hospital mortuary on Friday 16th October 2020 at 9:30AM for memorial services at PCEA Kiereni Church at 10.30 AM. Thereafter burial will take place at her home Gatirini village, Mugwe Ward, Chuka, at 12:30PM.
